Welcome to the Daily Grind: Built for Truth & Speed

Welcome to the new home of our creative journey. If you’ve found this page, it’s because the "gears in the machine" are working exactly as intended.

Over the last few months, we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, not just creating, but building a digital footprint that Google can’t ignore. We’ve shifted our focus toward a search-first strategy to make sure our photography, music, and mission are visible to the world.

What’s New Under the Hood?

To ensure our content gets indexed and ranked, we’ve overhauled how we share our work:

  • Savage SEO: We’ve moved away from vague titles. Every post, from our 4K drone captures to our music releases, is now packed with high-intent keywords, custom slugs, and metadata designed to climb the search results.

  • The Content Loop: We’ve connected the dots between our high-altitude coffee, our indie music tracks, and our visual storytelling. By linking our YouTube community, our Shopify store, and this blog, we’re creating a "backlink loop" that tells search engines we are a verified, authoritative source of original art.

  • Daily Consistency: With our 5:30 AM "Daily Grind" releases, we are providing fresh, frequent signals to Google’s indexers. We aren't just posting; we’re building a library of 4K footage and original anthems in real-time.

Lecuyer’s Lounge: Day 6 - New Streams, Custom Tech, and Keeping the Faith

Jayson Lecuyer live streaming on Lecuyers Lounge, sitting with a cup of Molly Dog Coffee while sharing music updates and daily reflections.Lecuyers Lounge - Coffee Chat - Road To Monetization Day 6 - New Music Streamer CreatedJoin Jayson Lecuyer on Lecuyers Lounge for another daily coffee chat on the road to monetization. Today, Jayson discusses the brand-new web-based audio player for Honest Blue Radio, debuts his new tracks "I Dream Of A Genie" and "I’ll Never Turn My Back On God," and reflects on life, loss, and Florida nostalgia—all over a fresh cup of Molly Dog Coffee.
On Day 6 of the road to monetization, the focus turned toward both technical independence and deep personal reflection. Building an autonomous media ecosystem isn't just about managing algorithms and watch hours, it's about staying rooted in authentic creative expression while engineering the platforms needed to share it.

On the technical side, a major milestone was reached with the launch of a custom built music player directly on honestblueradio.com. Owning the platform and control over how the audience experiences the catalog removes dependency on third party gatekeepers. Alongside this update came the introduction of the new track, "I Dream Of A Genie," adding another distinct layer to the ongoing 24/7 radio rotation and expanding the independent catalog.

The stream also covered deeper, personal territory through the introduction of another new track, "I’ll Never Turn My Back On God." The song reflects on life's ongoing struggles, the heavy sense of missing family, and processing the loss of a father. Experiencing a moment like seeing a strong beam of light shine across a chair the next morning served as a quiet, comforting pause to reflect on those deep family memories and keep pushing forward with the work.

Navigating grief and isolation while aggressively building something from the ground up takes resilience. Channeling those personal moments directly into original music ensures that every track carries genuine weight. Day 6 stands as a testament to building real ownership, both in the code powering the radio station and the music detailing the journey.

A $10 TV, Back To The Future, and Flipping The Boss Off!

Welcome back to another live roundup from Lecuyer’s Lounge! In this episode, Jay kicked things off by talking about his latest software project, his brand new custom music app designed to stream smooth original tracks around the clock. While giving everyone the run-down on the app's features and overall vibe, he jumped right into playing his newly created song, Flip The Boss Off. It’s equal parts chaotic and cathartic, making it the perfect song to kick back and listen to during a stream.

Beyond the software updates, Jay shared an epic weekend deal hunt that every bargain lover can appreciate. He managed to snag a massive 50 inch Sony Bravia Television at a local tag sale for just $10! To test out the screen and see if the budget find actually held up, he hooked up his PlayStation 5 to see how crisp the colors and display quality looked in real time.

Of course, testing out a new screen requires top-tier media, and Jay had just the thing ready to go. On another recent tag sale run, he picked up a copy of Back to the Future on Blu-ray for a unbelievable $5 steal. Poping that classic film into the PS5 and running it on the newly acquired 50-inch Sony Bravia proved that incredible home theater setups don't have to cost a fortune.

After kicking back with some classic sci-fi cinema, it was time to put the display through a real gaming workout. Jay loaded up Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on the PS5 and successfully knocked out a full mission while testing out the input lag and vibrant colors on the 50-inch panel. Riding through the neon-soaked streets of Vice City on a $10 Sony TV felt like the ultimate retro-modern combo.

Between streaming custom music, taking down fictional bosses, knocking out GTA missions, and finding incredible $15 total tag sale scores, this stream had a little bit of everything. Seeing Back to the Future running on the setup naturally started a debate in the chat about time travel cinema. Which Back to the Future film is your personal favorite, the 1985 original, the futuristic Part II, or the wild west finale in Part III? Let us know in the comments!

Road to Monetization: Lessons Learned, Starting Over, and Building Our Own Music App

For the past seven months, we’ve been on a mission: streaming our music live 24/7 on YouTube while working hard writing original tracks. We thought we had a solid plan stream our music around the clock, build an audience, and watch those watch hours roll in.

Then came the reality check.

The YouTube Bump in the Road

What we didn't realize until recently is that YouTube doesn't allow unhosted 24/7 streams like that. Even if every single track playing is 100% original music that we wrote ourselves, YouTube requires a live host. You can't just run audio on a continuous loop indefinitely. On top of that, unmonetized channels face heavy restrictions

forcing streams to be unlisted, and even if you manage to get monetized, streaming 24/7 puts you at risk of instant demonetization.

So, after seven months of continuous streaming, we’re essentially starting all over on YouTube.

To make things even more pressing, YouTube is raising the monetization requirement to 8,000 watch hours this coming February. We’re officially in a race against time to reach our monetization goals before that threshold increases.

If You Can't Stream It, Build It!

We still wanted a place where everyone could sit back, relax, and listen to our music whenever they wanted without running into platform hurdles. Since YouTube wasn't going to work for constant streaming, I decided to take matters into my own hands: I built our very own music app!

We wanted to make it fun, lighthearted, and a great place to hang out, so inside the app, you’ll find:

  •  Our Original Music: We are systematically adding all 262 of our tracks to the app over the next few months.
  •  Fun Extras: Beyond our own tracks, we’ve added instrumental music, Disney tracks, and a few fun surprises.
  •  Daily Firework Shows: To top it all off, we programmed virtual firework displays that go off inside the app every single day at 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM Eastern Time!

Because at the end of the day, people just want a place to listen to good music, and we wanted to build a dedicated home for ours.

How You Can Listen (and Help Us Get Monetized!)

You can get the app on your phone, iPad, or mobile device today so you can tune in whenever you want. Click here to download/access the app!

If you want to support us on our road to monetization and help us hit our watch hours before February, you can easily jump over to our channel straight from the app. Just look at the bottom right corner of the app screen and tap "Catch Content" to head directly to our YouTube channel. Watching our videos, liking, and subscribing on YouTube gives us the boost we desperately need right now!

Thank you all so much for being part of this journey, adapting with us, and supporting our music. Download the app, enjoy the music, catch the fireworks at 6:00 or 9:00 PM, and help us cross that monetization finish line!
