This drive to work hard and push forward often starts at a remarkably young age. For some, it manifests as early entrepreneurial ventures, like selling childhood drawings to a mother for pocket change, or enduring the scorching heat of labor intensive jobs like blacktopping driveways alongside a parent. These early experiences shape a lifelong work ethic, whether that involves physical labor, transitioning into therapeutic fields later in life, or exploring creative outlets.
At the core of these diverse endeavors is a shared fundamental motivation: a genuine desire to help others. Whether that means creating great artwork for shirts, mugs, and SVGs to empower others to make their own
products, providing therapeutic massages to make people feel good, or paving a smooth driveway so a family can comfortably return home, the underlying purpose remains service. This passion for creation is often generational, handed down through family members who shared their own talents and sparked a lifelong love for drawing, music, photography, and filming.
Despite the deep enjoyment found in making art and producing creative content, the day to day existence remains a persistent grind. It is important to recognize that this struggle is not unique; everyone is navigating their own version of the hustle, often working tirelessly simply to put food on the table. Acknowledging the universal nature of this perseverance brings a sense of shared community to an otherwise demanding path.
Ultimately, keeping going requires a delicate balance of resilience, passion, and adaptability. While the road is rarely straightforward and the pressure to survive never truly vanishes, the drive to create, connect, and support one another provides the fuel needed to push forward.

Lecuyers Lounge - Coffee Chat - Road To Monetization Day 6 - New Music Streamer CreatedJoin Jayson Lecuyer on Lecuyers Lounge for another daily coffee chat on the road to monetization. Today, Jayson discusses the brand-new web-based audio player for Honest Blue Radio, debuts his new tracks "I Dream Of A Genie" and "I’ll Never Turn My Back On God," and reflects on life, loss, and Florida nostalgia—all over a fresh cup of Molly Dog Coffee.
On the technical side, a major milestone was reached with the launch of a custom built music player directly on honestblueradio.com. Owning the platform and control over how the audience experiences the catalog removes dependency on third party gatekeepers. Alongside this update came the introduction of the new track, "I Dream Of A Genie," adding another distinct layer to the ongoing 24/7 radio rotation and expanding the independent catalog.
Navigating grief and isolation while aggressively building something from the ground up takes resilience. Channeling those personal moments directly into original music ensures that every track carries genuine weight. Day 6 stands as a testament to building real ownership, both in the code powering the radio station and the music detailing the journey.

Beyond the software updates, Jay shared an epic weekend deal hunt that every bargain lover can appreciate. He managed to snag a massive 50 inch Sony Bravia Television at a local tag sale for just $10! To test out the screen and see if the budget find actually held up, he hooked up his PlayStation 5 to see how crisp the colors and display quality looked in real time.
After kicking back with some classic sci-fi cinema, it was time to put the display through a real gaming workout. Jay loaded up Grand Theft Auto: Vice City on the PS5 and successfully knocked out a full mission while testing out the input lag and vibrant colors on the 50-inch panel. Riding through the neon-soaked streets of Vice City on a $10 Sony TV felt like the ultimate retro-modern combo.
The YouTube Bump in the Road
What we didn't realize until recently is that YouTube doesn't allow unhosted 24/7 streams like that. Even if every single track playing is 100% original music that we wrote ourselves, YouTube requires a live host. You can't just run audio on a continuous loop indefinitely. On top of that, unmonetized channels face heavy restrictions
forcing streams to be unlisted, and even if you manage to get monetized, streaming 24/7 puts you at risk of instant demonetization.
So, after seven months of continuous streaming, we’re essentially starting all over on YouTube.
To make things even more pressing, YouTube is raising the monetization requirement to 8,000 watch hours this coming February. We’re officially in a race against time to reach our monetization goals before that threshold increases.
We still wanted a place where everyone could sit back, relax, and listen to our music whenever they wanted without running into platform hurdles. Since YouTube wasn't going to work for constant streaming, I decided to take matters into my own hands: I built our very own music app!
We wanted to make it fun, lighthearted, and a great place to hang out, so inside the app, you’ll find:
Because at the end of the day, people just want a place to listen to good music, and we wanted to build a dedicated home for ours.
You can get the app on your phone, iPad, or mobile device today so you can tune in whenever you want. Click here to download/access the app!
If you want to support us on our road to monetization and help us hit our watch hours before February, you can easily jump over to our channel straight from the app. Just look at the bottom right corner of the app screen and tap "Catch Content" to head directly to our YouTube channel. Watching our videos, liking, and subscribing on YouTube gives us the boost we desperately need right now!

Then life threw a curveball. After getting sick in 2023, I returned in 2024 determined to rebuild. I qualified for TikTok’s monetization program, which rewards creators for keeping viewers engaged on videos over a minute long, no small feat in the era of short attention spans.
I even managed to go viral a few times. But the reality of platform algorithms quickly set in: one video hit a million views, and the payout was a modest $23. Worse yet, after posting a few funny, entirely original Disney voiceover videos, the platform flagged them as "unoriginal" and stripped my monetization eligibility entirely.
When platforms introduce a dollar amount, creators naturally hope to earn a sustainable living. But as soon as you get close to the finish line, the rules often seem to shift.
TikTok: Provided an audience, but frequent policy shifts and unpredictable payouts made stability elusive.
YouTube: Our current frontier, where we are tantalizingly close to hitting monetization thresholds, if the metrics cooperate
More recently, I’ve shifted my focus to YouTube, and we are closer than ever to unlocking our goals. We currently sit right around 3,000 watch hours, chasing the crucial 4,000 hour milestone.
Our channel isn't just about one thing; it’s a creative hub built on decades of experience (I’ve been creating art and content since 1983!). Here is what you will find on our channel:
24/7 Music Streams: Continuous background music to accompany your day.
Morning Live Shows: Daily conversations diving into nostalgia, movies, music, video games, and art.
Thousands of Videos: A massive library of content ready to watch, explore, and enjoy.
Platforms might move the goalposts, but community support is constant. Whether it's a sudden drop in recorded watch hours or algorithmic roadblocks designed to gatekeep monetization, real human support is what keeps independent creators afloat.
If you want to support a lifelong creator who has been putting art into the world for over four decades, come check out our YouTube channel, watch our videos, and join our community. Every view, watch hour, and bit of engagement helps us cross the finish line.

Years ago, the Family Golf Center in Hadley, Massachusetts, was a solid local spot. You could roll up, grab a bucket of balls for around ten bucks choosing real grass over mats if you wanted and actually talk to someone. They even had loyalty punch cards: visit ten times, get a free game. It was community driven, well maintained, and genuinely fun.
Fully Automated, Fully Neglected
We stopped by recently at 11:00 AM, and the entire operation is now entirely self serve and unattended. Nobody is running the place. Nobody is checking in.
The Cashless Paywall: You swipe your credit card, get a token to drop into a machine for your ball, and pick out your own club. That'll be about $8.50 per person, pushing close to $20 just for two people to walk onto a neglected course.
Zero Maintenance: It rained hard the day before, but nobody bothered to sweep the turf. Back in the day, they used to leave brooms out so players could clear off debris. Now? Nothing.
Dead Atmosphere: No music, no background vibe, just eerie silence. To top it off, they left a rotting, failed maze structure up from years ago that acts as a massive visual eyesore.
Things went from bad to comical by Hole Four.
(Check out the video of me wrestling balls out of the flooded cup on my YouTube channel!)
There are no flags in the cups anymore, the quality has completely cratered, and there is zero customer service. It’s just an absentee owner collecting automated credit card payments while letting the property rot.
It’s genuinely frustrating because finding a decent, fun place to play mini golf in Western Massachusetts feels harder than ever these days. If nobody is putting any care into running the place, it's hard to justify spending a dime there.
And so when I got older, I turned to photography. That's how I showed my voice, by giving out amazing wedding photos, and I started my own business, Jayson's Photography, and I shot high end weddings. And that's how I got my voice, not by me really speaking all that much, but by me giving out a great product.
Then I turned to teaching to help people create, and the students loved my personality, but they didn't really want to learn anything. They would rather watch Netflix in class. Some of them created, but not much and didn't really put much effort. They didn't care because they wanted to consume. I wanted students to be creators and not consumers.
Even as a substitute teacher at Belchertown High School, they told me to shut my mouth. The principal there, who calls herself Mama Bird, asked if I talked to the kids about TikTok, or about divorce, which I said no to. They wanted me just to hand out worksheets and shut the hell up.
So I turned back to art, Disney art, and was Jay Draws Disney, so I got my voice back. I was online drawing for people LIVE. They would tell me what to create for no dollars. And then I turned to Disney. I went down to Florida and I was walking around the parks talking LIVE on Tiktok, so I got my voice back kind of.
And now I've turned to my own program on YouTube called The Lecuyers Lounge, where I talk about everything and anything, and I create, I draw, and people can request a drawing for $25. I will draw it for them. That doesn't mean I'll ship it to them. If they want me to take a picture with my phone, I will send it to them if they'd like that, then they can print that out at home.
Everything has come full circle from when I started creating art in 1983.

Behind the microphone and the screen, a stark contrast exists between true creators and passive broadcasters. Seasoned educators, musicians, and interactive hosts spend years cultivating actual communities, mastering their craft, and welcoming diverse perspectives including constructive criticism and debate to drive real engagement. They invest hours building talk shows, teaching students, and treating their audiences as active participants rather than silent spectators who exist merely to fund an afternoon stroll through Florida theme parks.
True digital longevity and community trust are built on connection, resilience, and mutual respect, not on shielding oneself from honest feedback or leaning on sympathy driven narratives to game the algorithm. When streamers rely on passive scenery while silencing anyone who questions their lack of interaction, they expose the hollow nature of their digital footprint. Real creators know that community isn't built by locking out dissenting voices, it is forged by showing up, doing the work, and actually talking to the people on the other side of the screen.

If you haven't laughed out loud yet, Scar breaks down the ultimate gaming dilemma: the eternal wait for GTA 6, the inevitable arrival of the PS6, and why you might have better luck trying to beat The Lion King video game on the classic Sega Genesis first [00:41].
Let’s face it, at this point, waiting for GTA 6 feels like waiting for Simba to finally take his rightful place on Pride Rock, except it's taking decades [00:49]. According to Scar's unfiltered breakdown in the parody, we might just be stuck playing GTA 5 forever and ever [00:59].
In fact, Scar boldly claims that GTA 6 is never coming out, and that we’ll all be holding a PS6 console in our hands before Rockstar’s next masterpiece ever hits store shelves [00:59].
While the next gen crowd is busy stressing over release windows, Scar hits us with a major dose of nostalgia. Remember trying to survive the ridiculously hard platforming levels of The Lion King on the Sega Genesis back in the day [00:41]?
As Scar points out, trying to conquer that 16-bit nightmare is still a badge of honor, and honestly, you might actually finish it before you ever get a glimpse of modern open world chaos [00:41]. Retro gaming truly builds character, even if it leaves you questioning your life choices just like a conversation with Pride Rock's most cynical uncle.

Looking at the current landscape of convention pricing, people often ask if I think things have gotten completely out of hand. Honestly, it's not entirely horrible, especially considering events like the upcoming 90s Con happening right in Hartford, Connecticut, from October 16th through the 18th. A standard ticket to walk the floor and soak in the nostalgia sits right around $60, which feels pretty reasonable for a weekend event of that scale. Naturally, the real financial gymnastics start when you look at the headlining photo ops, like the massive full-cast reunion package for Full House. Checking the breakdown, a group shot featuring Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier, John Stamos, and Lori Loughlin costs $495.
The nostalgia trip doesn't stop there, either, as the convention floor will host plenty of other iconic television and movie casts. Fans of A Goofy Movie can catch Jason Marsden, while the beloved ensemble from Step by Step is slated for a group photo op priced at $365 featuring Patrick Duffy, Christine Lakin, Staci Keanan, Angela Watson, Christopher Castile, Sasha Mitchell, and Josh Byrne. Meanwhile, devotees of Sabrina the Teenage Witch can meet Melissa Joan Hart alongside Nate Richert and Jenna Leigh Green for $175. Once you start factoring in additional guests like Tara Reid making an appearance, your convention budget starts expanding very quickly. If I were heading to this con, my personal wishlist would definitely home in on Stamos, Coulier, and Jason Marsden, but by the time you toss in a few extra favorites like Melissa Joan Hart, you are easily staring down a $500 weekend.

Golden Hour Silhouettes at Balboa ParkNot shortly after I learned how to capture silhouette photography—which requires a vibrant, illuminated background directly behind your subject—I found myself wandering through the iconic grounds of Balboa Park in San Diego, California. The evening atmosphere provided a stunning canvas, but translating technical concepts into a real-world shot always depends on seizing the right moment.
Standing right in front of the park's magnificent fountain, I noticed how the water and the surrounding lights created an intense, glowing wall of energy. It was the exact kind of backdrop needed to pull off a striking silhouette, so I raised the camera, lined up the composition, and waited for the right framing.
I only took one single image, and this was the direct result. It was entirely a spur-of-the-moment click, captured in a fraction of a second before the moment could shift or fade away.
Looking back at that frame, I am always struck by how well it turned out from just one press of the shutter. The sharp outline of the subjects contrasting against the blazing water encapsulates the kind of unplanned magic that photographers always hope for.
While it wasn't part of any formal photoshoot, I completely love the rich, golden colors and warmth that the illuminated fountain added to the scene. It remains a favorite reminder that sometimes a single, spontaneous frame is all you need to capture a lasting memory.

When You Get Left on Read in Wonderland... Alice Needs to Learn How to Ghost Them Back!Alice sitting on a giant mushroom in Wonderland, looking devastated at her smartphone while a giant "READ" receipt floats above her head. Meanwhile, a grinning Cheshire Cat is showing her a magical dream-haunting portal where the Mad Hatter and White Rabbit are getting spooked!
Except, imagine getting left on read when you're literally trapped in Wonderland [00:01]. Talk about an existential crisis! Poor Alice is sitting around crying into her handkerchief because someone couldn't take three seconds to hit send [00:19].
Fortunately, Wonderland has its own resident life coach for toxic texting habits: the Cheshire Cat [00:25].
True to form, the Cheshire Cat decides to chime in with some unsolicited nostalgia, reminiscing about the days when you actually had to press a bunch of physical buttons just to send a basic text, and you had to wait until free nights and weekends to save your minutes [00:27]. Kids these days will never understand the struggle of T9 texting!
When Alice complains that she's left with "nobody," the Cheshire Cat offers the ultimate Wonderland solution [00:48]. Forget chasing white rabbits or arguing with the Queen of Hearts, it's time to turn the tables.
Instead of waiting around for a text back that’s never coming, the Cheshire Cat hooks her up with a magical portal designed to haunt their dreams [00:59]. Because if they're going to ghost you in the waking world, you might as well return the favor by taking over their subconscious [01:03].
If you're tired of being left on read and want to channel your inner Cheshire Cat, check out the full short here:

The short begins [00:03] at a classic Dinoco gas station setting where Woody is flat on his back, complaining that his spine is completely out of alignment [00:15]. Desperate for relief, he pins his hopes on a familiar face stepping in to save the day, Dr. Finkelstein [00:18].
Enter Buzz Lightyear, ready to swoop in and deliver the hard-hitting reality of modern healthcare policies [00:26]. Unfortunately, the "fix" isn't quite what Woody had in mind:
No networks, no copays: Your health is completely in your own hands [00:43].
The wallet treatment: It's a place where your extra money goes to die, covering absolutely nothing until you've suffered enough [00:48].
The new motto: "Denial, corp hell, copay, and pray!" [00:51]
Curious to see how Woody handles the harsh reality of "Denial Corp"? Check out the full video below:
Matching Gamer Shirts for Couples, Press Start to Avoid Adulting, His and Hers Gaming Tees, Valentine Gift for Gamer BoyfriendPlayer One and Player Two, unite! Grab matching hand-drawn graphic tees for your next gaming date night. Available in multiple colors including classic black and heather teal, these shirts celebrate your shared love for retro games and caffeine.
Let’s be honest: adulting is... a lot. It’s taxes, spreadsheets, "reply-all" emails, and figuring out what to cook for dinner for the 365th time in a row. It’s exhausting.
Sometimes, you just need to hit the couch, grab a controller, and lose yourself in a world where the biggest problem is a blue shell or a low-health bar. That feeling—that sweet, necessary escape—is exactly what inspired our newest design.
We are incredibly excited to introduce the "Press Start to Avoid Adulting" T-Shirt.
This isn't just another graphic tee. Every line, every pixel, and every detail was lovingly hand-drawn by our team before being brought to the final design. The controller is a nostalgic nod to the golden age of gaming, and the steaming mug of coffee? Well, that’s just fuel for the respawn.
The hand-drawn quality gives it a unique, artisanal feel—not too perfect, but full of character. It’s the kind of shirt that looks like your favorite, lived-in tee from day one, complete with a slightly distressed, retro pixel-art aesthetic.
1. Instant Comfort: We chose a super-soft, high-quality cotton blend that feels like a warm hug. Perfect for long gaming sessions, binge-watching marathons, or just staring into the abyss before work.
2. A Statement Piece: Let everyone know your priorities. Wear it to the office (if you dare), to the next family gathering, or just around the house as a universal "do not disturb" sign.
3. The Ultimate Gift: Do you know a gamer, a coffee addict, or someone who’s just really bad at being an adult? Congratulations, you’ve found the ultimate gift. It’s guaranteed to get a laugh of recognition.
Available in multiple colors (our favorite is the heather teal pictured) and a wide range of sizes, this tee is ready to join your collection.
Don’t wait in the lobby. Grab your "Press Start to Avoid Adulting" shirt now and declare your gaming corner a no-adult-zone.
P.S. Remember to save your progress before checking out.
ReallySaltyStuff | Leveling Up Your Everyday
One of their standout shorts tackles none other than Disney's The Little Mermaid—specifically, the iconic dinner scene where Ariel experiences life on land for the first time [00:23].
In the original 1989 classic, this is a charming, albeit slightly bizarre, look at Ariel trying to figure out human utensils. But in the J Dubs Dis version, things take a wild turn. Instead of introducing traditional human delicacies, Grimsby proudly announces a menu consisting of "crab soup with a side of scuttle and flounder" [00:23]! Poor Flounder and Sebastian definitely wouldn't approve.
Things escalate quickly when Ariel picks up a pipe, thinking it’s a vape ("You vape? And that’s cotton candy flavor?" [00:46]), leading to an accidental puff of smoke right to the face that leaves everyone coughing and wheezing [00:50].
And don't even get us started on Prince Eric and Grimsby's nostalgic trip down memory lane, swapping out old royal adventures for a random, hilarious detour about visiting Dolly Parton at Dollywood [00:58]!
Parody voiceover channels are a dime a dozen, but what makes J Dubs Dis stand out is the sharp comedic timing, clever pop-culture mashups, and the sheer nostalgia of seeing classic animation repurposed into absurd new sketches.
If this short is any indication of what's to come, this channel is primed to become your next YouTube hyper-fixation. Whether you're looking for a quick laugh during your lunch break or want to ruin your childhood memories in the best way possible, you need this on your radar.
Check out the hysterical Little Mermaid dub for yourself below, and make sure to subscribe to J Dubs Dis for more cartoon comedy!

Big Growth, Big Thanks, and Where to Listen to Honest BlueCelebrate nine months of Honest Blue with a look at our streaming growth! Find out why listening and watching on YouTube Music is the best way to support independent music from day one.
While we love seeing those Spotify and Apple numbers grow, there is one place that really makes a tangible difference for an independent act like ours: YouTube Music.
If you want to directly support the music and help us keep producing new tracks, YouTube Music is hands down the best place to tune in.
The music streaming landscape is tough for indie artists starting out. On Spotify, a track has to hit a threshold of at least 1,000 plays before royalty payouts even kick in. Since we are just getting started this year, we are still building toward those milestones.
YouTube Music works a bit differently. When you stream our songs there—whether through the app or website—and watch those quick, painless ads, it actually translates into real support for the station and our releases right out of the gate. Every quick ad watched helps us keep the lights on and fund the next batch of recordings.
You can stream Honest Blue across all major platforms, but here is where you can catch us:

Let’s be completely transparent. I am not running this to hoard cash or build a corporate empire. My goal isn't to get rich; it's to survive, keep creating, and help people who are genuinely starving.
I operate on a simple principle: I keep what my widowed mother and I need to survive, and every single extra dollar goes right back into fueling these businesses and sharing with the world. That means supporting people in poverty, helping those who are struggling to put food on the table, and funding real, life-changing outreach.
As a Christian man, my mission is rooted in faith and service which you can also see on my channel Coffee with Christ, where we open the Bible and talk about the Word.
When you invest in a teardown or a business build through Fix My YouTube, you aren't padding some faceless corporation's bank account. You are paying for decades of real world expertise, keeping an independent creator alive and operating 10 YouTube channels, and directly funding a mission that feeds the hungry and helps others survive.

Fix My YouTube Channel BannerExpert channel diagnostics, surgical teardowns, and growth strategy for creators ready to build a real business.
People look at where I'm at now and think it happened overnight, but my work ethic was forged in the trenches. For 10 years, I worked as a technology teacher across multiple high schools where administration gave me zero funding for programs. I had to use freeware, fund software out of my own pocket, and think on the fly to teach complex subjects. I taught stop-motion animation, painstaking, frame by frame work where you'll spend 90 grueling minutes creating a single 10-second video. I taught CAD, mastering AutoCAD while having to hack together lessons using off brand alternatives because schools refused to buy professional suites. I taught web design, blogging, and more, all while schools refused to purchase industry standards like Photoshop or Procreate (tools I am deeply well-versed in today).
When you have that kind of background, you learn one hard truth: most creators aren't failing on YouTube because they lack talent. They're failing because their setup is a mess, their branding doesn't stick, their names are forgettable, and they don't have a clue how to convert views into a real business or sell merch.
I’m not here to hand out participation trophies or waste your time with generic advice you can Google. I'm going to look at your channel, spot the fatal flaws in ten minutes flat, and give you the brutal, actionable truth you need to get monetized, structure your brand, and actually start making money.
If you're ready to stop spinning your wheels for three years while getting nowhere, let’s see if we’re a good fit. Send an email to [email protected] with your YouTube link for a quick, no-nonsense check to get started.

Walt and Mickey Partners Statue at Magic Kingdom 2013An HDR-processed look back at the iconic Partners Statue in front of Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World, captured in 2013.
Going through a massive archive of professional photography is always a bit of a time machine, especially when you are looking back over ten years of trips to Walt Disney World. When you have thousands of frames sitting on hard drives, editing them down feels less like a chore and more like reliving every single shutter click.
There is just something timeless about that sculpture. Whenever I look at it, I can't help seeing the story behind the metal: Walt pointing out toward the park as if telling Mickey Mouse, "This is as far as I can take you, but there’s an open seat on the bench up front with my brother Roy and Minnie Mouse for you." It captures the entire heart of what the park represents, a shared dream built by family and friends.
Sifting through a decade’s worth of archives really highlights how much gear, technique, and editing styles change over time. Back in 2013, high dynamic range (HDR) processing was a powerful tool for pulling every ounce of detail out of bright Florida sun and shadowed walkways. Today, the approach might be a bit more subtle, but the goal remains identical: capturing the feeling of being right there in the middle of the magic.
What’s your favorite spot or era to photograph in the parks? Let me know in the comments below!

Spanning 25 tracks, the album leans hard into a brilliant mix of pop culture nods, sports culture, and quirky, hyper-personalized storytelling:
"Tiger Woods Is The GOAT" kicks things off with a bold sports-culture statement, blending a driving rhythm with undeniable icon energy.
"Massachusetts Cities and Towns" brings a localized geography lesson into an indie-pop groove.
"Mac and Cheese Anthem" serves up an instant comfort-food classic with a fun, lighthearted hook.
"89 Batman Remix" and "Cobra Kai" lean straight into supreme 80s and 90s cinematic nostalgia, channeling superhero grit and dojo energy.
"The Price Is Right" and "Monopoly Anthem Remix" capture a playful, game-show-inspired competitive spirit.
Whether you're picking up the 12-inch vinyl or popping the 25-track CD into the player, it's a release designed for true music lovers who want a deep, immersive sonic experience from front to back.

When you finally step away from that dynamic, the silence is deafening. But underneath that quiet, a profound truth starts to take root: peace doesn’t have to be loud, and love doesn’t have to hurt.
Writing this track was a way to process the weight of the past and celebrate the weightlessness of the present. It’s about unlearning the chaos and discovering what real, steady affection looks like after you’ve survived the storm.
We are fed so many fairy tales about what a successful life and relationship look like. We’re told to look at the scoreboard, how much money is in the bank account, the status symbols, the grand, performative gestures. But when you’ve been through the wringer with someone who values control over connection, those metrics lose their luster entirely.
It’s not about a lavish lifestyle or material wealth. At its core, this song is a celebration of the simple, radical act of someone actually wanting to spend time with you. It’s about the quiet comfort of a Tuesday night where no one is picking a fight, keeping score, or playing psychological games.
I was just watching a video on YouTube which was about a man named Lloyd who took up skating in his 60’s and is now 91 and he works out every single day. He sold 3 million copies of his book Stretching, and this song reminded me of the deep love he had for his wife who passed away a couple years ago. In this incredible 20-minute video of his life, he talks about how him and his wife never fought. That’s what this song Happily Ever After is about.
If you’ve spent time in toxic environments, peace can actually feel uncomfortable at first. You keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. "Happily Ever After" captures that moment of realization when you finally exhale.
It’s the beauty of a love that doesn’t require a battlefield. There’s no shouting matches, no manipulation, and no earning your worth. It’s just someone looking at you, seeing every messy, authentic piece of who you are, and choosing to love you right there.
If you’re currently on the other side of a toxic relationship, or if you’ve finally found that safe harbor where you can just be, I wrote this anthem for you.
"Happily Ever After" is officially live and streaming right now. You can listen to it on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
Turn it up, take a deep breath, and remember what real love is supposed to feel like.

The value gets even better when you look at their higher-tier options, which let you operate your own label and host multiple artists under a single name, a feature we plan on taking advantage of in the very near future. Having a reliable distribution partner is everything when you are releasing music at a high volume, and LANDR has completely streamlined our workflow. It gives us the freedom to focus entirely on the creative side of things without stressing over unexpected account closures or hidden fees.
Right now, we are in the middle of a massive push for the month, working tirelessly to release between one and ten new songs daily to give our catalog a major boost and deliver a few hundred more tracks before Christmas. Our current studio sessions are focused on experimenting with fun techno and EDM vibes that bring a fresh, high-energy pulse to the Honest Blue sound. Pushing the envelope like this keeps the creative process exciting, and we cannot wait for you to hear what we have been cooking up in the lab.
If you are ready to hear the latest beats and add some fresh energy to your playlists, check out our new music on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music under the name Honest Blue. Beyond the studio tracks and round-the-clock streaming, we are also going live with gaming sessions every single day on YouTube under the Honest Blue Radio banner, so come subscribe and hit that bell notification to catch all the action when we game live.

Right now, however, I am taking things at a slower pace as I heal from the profound burnout I experienced back in 2023. Life requires reset periods, and giving my mind and physical energy space to properly recharge has been essential. Alongside resting and healing, I’ve also been dialing in my physical well-being, including letting my body adjust and heal after going full carnivore diet just a few weeks ago. Balance is everything, and taking care of the engine makes the future trips all the more worthwhile.
All photos were taken by me in my ten years visiting Walt Disney World as a professional photographer from 2013 until 2023.

After capturing weddings with passion and precision from 2006 to 2023, I am thrilled to step back behind the lens for Western Massachusetts couples. Following a three-year hiatus spent recharging away from Florida, where I navigated everything from ridesharing to creating my Jay Draws Disney art, my creative batteries are fully restored. I am officially back in the New England wedding scene, bringing renewed energy, fresh artistic perspectives, and decades of professional storytelling experience to every celebration I document.
In addition to photography, I offer professional wedding videography designed to give you a cinematic keepsake without the boredom of watching hours of unedited footage. Rather than filming the entire day from start to finish, I craft a dynamic, artistic highlight montage meticulously timed to a piece of music of your choosing, perfectly capturing the energy and emotion of your celebration. Technical reliability and artistic quality go hand in hand with all my work, which is why I shoot using professional gear capable of excelling in challenging lighting conditions. Over the years, I have had the privilege of capturing incredible celebrations at premier Western Massachusetts venues including The Log Cabin in Holyoke, The Red Barn in Amherst, and The Delaney House in Holyoke, among many others.
If you are planning a wedding at one of our iconic local venues or anywhere throughout Western Massachusetts, or if you are ready to book your senior session, I would love to connect. Let's talk about your vision, your timeline, and how we can make your memories last a lifetime. Feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected] to check availability and start planning your upcoming session.

Beyond the beans and the roast date, every bag carries a deep personal story. Molly Dog Coffee is named after our black lab, a southern pup who joined our family back in 2015 when my dad was diagnosed with cancer. She brought an incredible amount of light into a heavy season of life, and she inspired the very spirit of our brand. If you look closely at our logo, you'll spot a rainbow and a cup of coffee resting in the clouds—a tribute to my dad that reminds us we are sharing a quiet cup with him every single time we roast and pour a fresh brew.
To make experiencing that farm-to-cup freshness and connection as seamless as possible, we keep things simple and customer-first by offering free shipping across our wide lineup of different roasts and whole bean varieties. Whether you are brewing up our signature single-origin options, a rich dark roast, or exploring something new for your morning ritual, getting a freshly roasted bag delivered straight to your door without extra fees changes your entire day while directly supporting independent art and community radio.

If you have ever tuned in, left a tab open while you worked, or caught one of our live sessions, you have been a part of this journey. And right now, we need your help to cross the finish line.
The YouTube partner program has a notoriously steep mountain to climb for live-streaming and long-form channels: 4,000 public watch hours over the course of 365 days.
That means we are more than halfway there, which is an incredible feeling. But the remaining 1,600 hours require sustained momentum. Every single minute someone spends listening to our music, tuning into a long-form video, or hanging out in the chat moves that progress bar a little bit closer to 4,000.
Honest Blue Radio has evolved into a round-the-clock hub for community and atmosphere. The schedule is packed to keep the energy going:
Daily Gaming Streams at 5:00 AM: Kick off your morning with us as we dive into gameplay, chat about life, and start the day together before the rest of the world wakes up.
Pop-Up Streams: Keep your notifications on—throughout the day, unpredictable pop-up streams bring extra gaming, casual hangouts, and impromptu community chats.
24/7 Music & Nightly Instrumentals: Our permanent fixture. Continuous music streams during the day transition into calming, ambient instrumentals designed specifically to quiet the mind and help people sleep peacefully through the night.
You do not need to empty your pockets or buy merchandise to make a massive impact here. In the world of YouTube streaming, time is currency. Here is how you can support Honest Blue Radio for free:
1. Leave the Stream Running: Whether you are working, cleaning, or heading to bed, let the music play in the background. Every second of watch time adds up toward that 4,000-hour goal.
2. Catch the Live Shows: Drop by the 5:00 AM gaming streams or drop into a pop-up stream to say hello in the chat. Active engagement tells the algorithm our community is vibrant and alive.
3. Watch Long-Form Content: Beyond the live streams, check out our uploaded videos, leave a like, and drop a comment.
4. Spread the Word: If you know a night owl who struggles to sleep, a gamer looking for morning vibes, or someone who loves discovering independent radio, share the channel with them.
When we first started putting our music out into the world back in January, we went the traditional route and signed up with DistroKid. It was a straightforward introduction to the process. We steadily uploaded over 200 songs, out of which only two contained explicit lyrics. The pipeline worked, each release took a few days to process, and our catalog grew.
Suddenly, our releases ground to a complete halt. When we reached out to support to figure out what was going on, the response was blunt: we were banned. No warning, no detailed explanation, just a shut door.
That left us in a bit of a bind. To be honest, we broadcast all of our original tracks 24/7 on our own online radio station anyway, so streaming services aren't about the payout, Spotify doesn’t send a cent our way worth writing home about. But we had started building a genuine following over there on Spotify, and we wanted to keep that momentum going for our listeners.
So, we started shopping around for alternative distributors. That’s when we made the switch to LANDR, and looking back at the financials and the fine print, it feels like an absolute no-brainer.
When you compare the pricing models side-by-side, the long term value shifts dramatically depending on how you plan to manage your catalog.
DistroKid: We paid $50 for our tier, but the kicker with DistroKid is the subscription model. If you stop paying your annual fee, they pull all your music down from streaming platforms. Your catalog is essentially held hostage to a recurring yearly subscription. Stop paying, and your history vanishes from Spotify and Apple Music.
LANDR: We grabbed a plan for $24 to get set up, but the game-changing difference is the permanence. LANDR lets you keep your music on streaming services forever, even if you don't maintain a continuous, active subscription.
Honest Blue is on all streaming services, and Honest Blue Radio is on YouTube always LIVE, spinning clean tracks with no DJ interrupting the songs. We stream instrumentals at night to help people sleep.
Getting banned out of nowhere in July after months of steady uploading was frustrating, but it forced us to evaluate how independent distribution should work. Paying an annual ransom just to keep your back catalog live on Spotify starts to feel like a bad deal when you're managing hundreds of tracks.
If you're pumping out a high volume of music and want peace of mind knowing your work stays online without a permanent subscription tax, moving away from DistroKid's annual takedown threat is a massive relief. LANDR has been a much smoother ride for keeping our catalog accessible to our followers without the ongoing overhead.
Yet, if you look at their current digital footprint, sitting quietly on YouTube with a modest 408 subscribers and just a handful of videos there is a massive disconnect between the incredible energy inside those brick walls and what the rest of the world sees online.
Here is exactly how an operation like this could completely flip the script on its digital presence, capture a brand-new generation of players, and turn passive local foot traffic into a thriving online community.
Consistency is the ultimate cheat code for growth on modern platforms. The easiest win for a spot like The Quarters isn't producing Hollywood-budget documentaries; it’s capturing raw, authentic micro-moments.
Imagine showing up one day a week with a camera and shooting a mountain of high-energy B-roll:
Armed with that raw footage, an archive can easily fuel a content machine capable of posting every single day across YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram. An owner or manager can assign this to internal staff, but let's be honest, running an arcade is a 24/7 hustle. Handing the reigns to someone with over four decades of video game and filming experience means the job gets done right, fast, and with an authentic eye for what gamers actually want to see.
Short form clips bring the casual viewers through the door, but long-form live events build deep, loyal communities.
The play here is simple: establish a monthly LIVE broadcast streamed directly from the floor of The Quarters. We aren't talking about a shaky smartphone propped up on a stool. We are talking about a full multi camera setup, crisp wireless mics for every player brave enough to jump into the rotation, and high octane competition.
Think about the atmosphere of a packed house watching four friends crowd around a TV setup for GoldenEye multiplayer, or a high-stakes bracket tournament on a classic cabinet. Streaming that live brings the electric energy of the arcade straight into living rooms everywhere, bridging the gap between local hangout and global geek culture.
Is this approach for every business? Absolutely not. It’s a deliberate pivot for a venue looking to actively inject fresh energy into the room, attract a younger crowd, and build a digital brand that punches way above its weight class.
Running nine different YouTube channels already teaches you a thing or two about consistency, pacing, and audience building, so managing one more for a premier local institution like The Quarters isn't just a project; it's a labor of love for the craft.
The cabinets are plugged in. The lights are flashing. All that’s left to do is press Start.

Today is August 30th 2026. I am tired. Been up since 1am. I sleep every day from 7pm until 1am sometimes 3am. Today I definitely grinded already as it is 9:37am and Betsy Blue I created a new song called Lazarus, Come Out which is available on Coffee with Christ YouTube. A story of Jesus bringing Lazarus back from the dead but dealing with grief first. I plan on putting it in our Honest Blue full streaming lineup which stays online forever and our 24/7 LIVE radio on Honest Blue Radio on YouTube. I also created a funny Aladdin Dub about, well, you can look it up under J Dubs Dis. I already wrote a few blog posts and might transfer those over to my Wordpress blog. My day is basically done at 9:39am. Every day I grind from 3am until 7pm. Today, I am pretty tired so I’m calling it quits and relaxing at 9:40am just listening to some prefrontal cortex music to chill me out. Remember, to guard your energy each day, don’t let anyone pull you into their loop of chaos. Anyways, I hope you’re having a great day on this Sunday. Oh ya, I almost forgot, I did stream some Everybody’s Golf on PS5 to Honest Blue Radio on YouTube. Yesterday someone did purchase an SVG from my Etsy and I am extremely grateful for them. The saying goes, every little bit helps and it’s true. I love creating and making things that people can use and be happy with their purchase. Why I create in the first place. It’s been about three weeks on a Carnivore Diet and I must say, I’m almost feeling like my old self again, before the 2023 collapse. I just released Lazarus, Come Out which will now be on all streaming indefinitely.

If you're looking at packing up your life, planting roots near the theme parks, and turning your daily grind into a digital business, here is the honest, unvarnished blueprint on how to do it right.
Don't just pack your car and head south on a whim. The smartest play is finding a job in your home state that has a corporate footprint or sister location in Central Florida. Getting that transfer locked down means you arrive with a steady paycheck already waiting for you.
When it comes to housing, location is everything. Living directly in Orlando proper puts you right in the thick of things, but places like Lakeland, sitting about 30 minutes down the road, offer a nice sweet spot. Just keep in mind that Florida traffic on I 4 is an absolute beast. If you're trying to commute down from a neighboring town on a Monday after a major local event or golf tournament, what should be a quick drive can easily morph into a frustrating two hour crawl. Minimizing your commute leaves you with the energy you actually need to create.
The moment you decide to make the move, start documenting it. Don't wait until you're unpacking boxes in Florida. Vlogs and blog posts chronicling the planning, the packing, and the anticipation are gold for building an early audience.
Once you arrive, your content strategy needs to be disciplined:
The Daily Short: Hit TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts religiously with one short a day. Every time you visit the parks, stack your camera roll with B roll, candid moments, and quick clips so you have a massive content bank to pull from all week long.
The Multitasking Schedule: You’ve got a day job, so maximize your margins. Use your breaks at work or your downtime after clocking out to edit and schedule your Disney content.
The Monetization Pivot: Don't rely solely on platform payouts. While algorithms will eventually start sending ad revenue your way, you need a safety net of products people actually want. Betting everything on Disney inspired Etsy merch can be a tough crowd to convert, so branch into things people consume daily, like a custom branded coffee line.
Going live is one of the fastest ways to build an intimate connection with your community, but you have to protect your peace and your schedule. Stick to platforms that reward real time engagement, like YouTube or TikTok.
The biggest mistake creators make is thinking they only have value when they're standing in front of Cinderella Castle. People connect with you, not just the ticket booth. Bring your genuine personality into your everyday spaces, show your home life, your cooking routines, and how you bring a little bit of magic into simple daily tasks, like turning ordinary meals into cute, Disney inspired creations.
More importantly, give people a reason to remember your face by having a signature hook that sets you apart from the sea of other vloggers. Whether you're dropping funny, original Disney parodies, rocking a rotation of wild, colorful shirts, or sporting a distinct collection of hats that become your trademark, you need that one memorable differentiator.
Moving to Florida to chase the dream is a grind, but if you treat it like a business from day one, manage your energy, and carve out a unique identity, you won't just be visiting the magic, you'll be building a sustainable life out of it.

Every creative soul understands the urge to build something out of absolute nothingness. When I wrote my book 1982, I explored the raw foundations of resilience and personal reinvention. Now comes the natural sequel, The Grid, which dives headfirst into what happens when you take those raw ideas and construct a living breathing digital ecosystem.
The title and core philosophy of the book draw direct inspiration from the movie Tron Legacy, specifically the way Kevin Flynn envisioned and built an entire digital frontier inside a computer. For years, I have channeled that exact spirit into my own work, constructing a sprawling network of creative projects that function like an interconnected mainframe.
My journey into digital world building did not start yesterday. It actually began back in 2005 when I first learned website design and began piecing together my very own corner of the internet. That early foundation taught me that with a computer and a vision, you can build a universe that reaches people all across the globe.
Musical Composition: Crafting original soundscapes and broadcasting across multiple streaming channels.
Video Production: Managing and producing content across nine unique YouTube channels focused on education, nostalgia, and art.
Online Education: Reaching over twenty thousand students through Udemy courses designed to teach and inspire creators.
Author and Publisher: Writing and self-publishing books that capture the realities of life, art, and modern creativity.
The hardest thing about running a small-batch coffee business isn't the roasting profile, the packaging design, or dialing in the grind. The hardest thing is realizing you cannot save people who are deeply committed to drinking corporate garbage.
I live in a small town. Right down the street from the local Dunkin', I've been trying to offer something better: fresh, small-batch Molly Dog Coffee roasted with actual care, loaded with natural antioxidants, and made for people who actually give a damn about what they put into their bodies. Every single day, I put out the American flag and set out an A-frame sidewalk sign to share a better option with the neighborhood.
Today, I walked outside and found that sign destroyed—its hinges ripped right out of the wood grain. And let's be clear: the wind didn't do that. Someone walked by, didn't like a local independent roaster offering a real alternative, and gave it a deliberate kick.
Instead of getting angry, I'm taking it as a crystal-clear signal to pivot.
You can't help people who would rather overpay for mass-produced, sugar-laden corporate swill at Starbucks, Panera, or Dunkin' than support a local independent creator. The locals are so jacked up on syrup and corporate convenience that even a friendly dog logo and a fresh bag of single-origin coffee feels like a threat to their routine.
Moving Forward Where It Counts
So, I’m writing about it, and then I’m dropping it entirely.
The sidewalk sign stays inside for good. No more wasting energy trying to wake up a town that prefers to stay asleep in the drive-thru lane. My focus goes back to where it actually matters: building the brand online, creating real content, and sharing what I do with people who appreciate authentic craft. Let them keep their corporate sugar. I’m moving forward.

We’ve all been there: walking down the grocery store aisle, catching the warm, nostalgic scent of roasted coffee, and picking up a bag of "Hazelnut Crème." It smells like a cozy bakery, promising a delicious, nutty morning ritual.
But have you ever wondered how that flavor actually gets into the bag?
If you look behind the curtain of mass-market, corporate coffee production, you might be surprised—and a little unsettled—by what you find. Let’s break down the massive gap between the chemical-heavy world of corporate coffee and the pure, intentional craft of a small-batch roaster.
Mass-market coffee brands operate on a completely different set of rules than local roasters. Their primary goal isn't peak flavor or health—it’s longevity and mass distribution.
The Stale Reality: Corporate coffee is often roasted months (sometimes up to a year) before it ever hits a grocery store shelf. By the time it's packaged, shipped, and warehoused, the beans are completely stale and have lost their natural aromatic qualities.
Artificial Flavoring Sprays: To mask that staleness and provide a uniform taste, commercial brands rely heavily on synthetic flavoring oils. These are typically created in labs using chemical solvents and artificial compounds (like propylene glycol and synthetic esters) to mimic the taste of nuts, vanilla, or caramel.
The "Shelf Life" Trap: Because these coffees need to sit on a metal shelf for months without spoiling, the oils and additives are engineered for preservation, not your palate. You aren't just tasting hazelnut; you’re tasting a cocktail of laboratory-created compounds designed to survive a long warehouse journey.
At a small-batch roaster, the philosophy is simple: coffee is fresh food, not a non-perishable commodity.
Made to Order: We don't roast coffee to let it sit in a dark warehouse or on a grocery store shelf. We roast only when you order it. When your bag arrives on your doorstep, it was likely roasting in our machine just days or even hours prior.
Real, Pure Ingredients: When we flavor coffee—like our hazelnut—we throw out the chemical lab sprays. Instead, we use real, high-quality botanical extracts and natural oils. There are no artificial solvents, no hidden preservatives, and no synthetic aftertaste.
Preserving the Bean: Because our coffee is consumed fresh, the natural integrity of the bean shines through. The natural oils we use blend seamlessly with the coffee's own profile, delivering a smooth, authentic cup that tastes like actual roasted hazelnuts rather than a chemistry experiment.
Your morning routine deserves better than sitting beans sprayed with chemical additives. When you switch to a small-batch roaster, you aren't just buying a bag of coffee—you're investing in a product crafted with care, precision, and respect for the bean.

We all love the smell of fresh coffee in the morning. It’s a ritual, a comfort, and for many of us, an absolute necessity. But what if your morning cup could do more than just wake you up? What if it could help you focus, stay calm, and support your overall well-being throughout the day?
Beyond the Buzz: What’s the Deal with Mushroom Coffee?
If you’ve heard the buzz around "functional mushrooms" but weren’t sure if it was just another trend, let’s clear the air. People have been using mushrooms like [Lion’s Mane and Chaga] for centuries for their natural adaptogenic properties.
When paired with high-quality coffee, these mushrooms work in tandem with the caffeine to provide a smoother, more balanced energy experience.
1. Clean Energy without the Jitters: We all know the "coffee crash." By incorporating functional mushrooms, this blend helps smooth out the effects of caffeine, giving you sustained energy rather than a frantic spike and sudden drop.
2. Focus and Clarity: It’s the perfect companion for a busy workday or a long study session.
3. Immune & Wellness Support: Mushrooms like [Chaga/Reishi] are packed with antioxidants, supporting your body’s natural defenses while you sip your morning brew.
4. Instant Convenience: Let’s face it—mornings are busy. Whether you’re at home, the office, or heading out on an adventure, Molly Dog Coffee makes it easy to get a premium, functional cup in seconds.
The beauty of this instant blend is its versatility. You can enjoy it black to appreciate the rich flavor profile, or mix it into your favorite smoothie, protein shake, or morning latte. It’s coffee, evolved.
Why settle for just a caffeine kick when you can have a functional powerhouse? Experience the difference for yourself and make your daily coffee work as hard as you do.

The Reality: A breakdown of what the program actually offers—and what it lacks when you are in the trenches of chronic illness or trauma.
The Core Critique: Why passive accountability (writing things down weekly with zero personalized feedback) doesn't cut it for a high-ticket price tag.
The Turning Point: Walking away, fighting for a refund, and ultimately finding healing elsewhere through self-education and time.
When you are deep into health struggles, chronic pain, or nervous system dysfunction, you are vulnerable. You are looking for a lifeline. Enter Brooklyn and Nick Hanna and their limbic system retraining program. With charismatic charm and slick marketing, it is easy to see how people get pulled in.
The promise is alluring: rewire your brain, calm your system, get your life back.
The price tag? A cool $4,000.
For that kind of investment, you expect a rigorous, guided medical or therapeutic framework. What you often get instead is a glorified self-help setup disguised as a cutting-edge protocol.
If you are expecting a comprehensive, hands-on roadmap—perhaps involving dietary guidance or elimination protocols to calm inflammation—you will be sorely disappointed. This is not a course based on eliminating trigger foods or providing structured dietary frameworks.
Instead, the core "work" often boils down to this:
Writing things down weekly: You submit your logs, your reflections, or your progress reports into the digital void.
Total Radio Silence: Those weekly submissions go in, but personalized responses? Don't hold your breath.
The "LIVE" Distraction: Instead of getting one-on-one attention or troubleshooting for your specific case, you are directed to join live sessions where hosts field soft-ball questions, leaving the heavy, complex struggles unaddressed.
Sure, this dynamic might work swimmingly if you are already thriving, love the charismatic energy of the hosts, and just need a little community cheerleading. But when you are actively struggling, isolated, and sinking financially, glossy charm wears off real fast. You stop buying into the BS.
Realizing you’ve been sold a bill of goods is a gut punch. Realizing that the product doesn't deliver and that you want your hard-earned money back is the next logical step.
I wanted my $4 grand back.
It is easy to feel defeated when a high-ticket program fails you. When you spend thousands of dollars and get nothing in return, it makes you question your own judgment.
But healing didn't come from a charismatic couple hosting livestreams.
After four years of fighting, researching, and taking matters into my own hands, God healed me. The turning point wasn't a $4,000 course; it was education. I started reading deeply about my own body, understanding how physiology works, and learning to trust my own internal compass rather than outsourcing my recovery to internet gurus.
If you are looking at programs like this, take a step back. Ask hard questions about where your money is actually going, what kind of personalized support is guaranteed, and whether you are paying for genuine science or just expensive charisma.
Hi, my name is Jayson Lecuyer and I have been creating art since 1983. I was born in 1982 to Bob and Bev Lecuyer. My Grandfather George Lecuyer would draw for me at a very young age, he was an artist and a wood maker where he would carve Santa Clauses, bridges and ducks. Later in life in 2003 I started building websites in college after I learned how to design them from a guy named Dave Longey who runs HandOfDave.com
I was landing multi thousand dollar clients right out of college in 2005. My parents bought me a digital camera for Christmas in 2003 and from there that sparked my interest in photography and then I saved for a DSLR in 2005 by working at a summer camp called Cyber Camps where I made $1,000 in a month. From there I photographed both of my sisters weddings for free and started my photography business Jayson's Photography. I still run this business but in 2023 I was hospitalized for burnout. Now in 2026 I am back to operating everything listed below.

Equipped with a $500 digital camera I had bought myself, we stayed at the school until 7:00 PM and cranked out six animations in one night. That marathon session completely sparked my creative juices. It proved to me that passion, hustle, and the right spark matter just as much as formal training.
Once again, self-reliance was the name of the game. Despite charging students $15,000 a year in tuition, the school provided zero funding for the program's equipment. But because I had built my creative foundation on bringing my own tools to the table, I used my own gear to make sure my students got the same hands-on, spark-igniting experience I had back in college.
That hustle—taking initiative, funding your own vision, and passing those real-world lessons on to the next generation—is the heart of what balancing life as an artist, teacher, and entrepreneur is all about.
Watch one of those stop action animations from early 2000s here
At Molly Dog Coffee, we’ve flipped the script. We don't believe in warehouse storage or inventory cycles. We believe in the "Roast-to-Ship" model.
In the specialty coffee industry, many brands rely on "roast dates" to prove their freshness. While that’s better than store-bought, it still implies the coffee has been sitting in a bin or on a shelf after the roast.
We take a different approach. When you order from us, your coffee is roasted, packed, and immediately handed to the carrier. By eliminating the middleman and the storage warehouse, we ensure the beans arriving at your doorstep are at their absolute peak—vibrant, aromatic, and full of character. This is the freshest coffee in the world, delivered straight from our fire to your front door.
If you want to experience what "fresh" actually tastes like, our Uganda Sipi Falls roast is the perfect place to start.
This isn't just coffee; it’s a reflection of a truly unique environment. Grown in the Kapchorwa District on the slopes of the mighty Mount Elgon, our beans thrive in the shadows of the iconic Sipi Falls—a series of three breathtaking waterfalls that plummet 328 feet into the basin below.
The Terroir: These beans are grown in nutrient-dense volcanic soil on the flanks of a dormant volcano.
The Environment: The constant mist from the 328ft falls provides the perfect high-humidity climate, allowing the coffee cherries to mature slowly and develop a deep, complex sugar profile.
The Flavor Profile: Expect a bright, juicy cup with top notes of tropical citrus, a smooth milk chocolate body, and a clean, refreshing finish that lingers like a cool mist.
We believe that high-quality, fresh coffee shouldn't be gated by high shipping costs. That’s why we offer free shipping on every single order.
We’ve removed the friction from the process so that you can keep your pantry stocked with coffee that was roasted just days—not weeks—before you brew it.
You don't need a label to tell you your coffee is fresh; you need a kettle.
When you receive your shipment from Molly Dog Coffee, perform the "Bloom Test." As you pour your first bit of hot water over your fresh grounds, watch them bubble and expand rapidly. That is the CO2 escaping the bean—a biological, undeniable proof that your coffee was roasted in our most recent batch.
If you see that bloom, you’re holding the freshest coffee in the world.
Ready to elevate your morning routine?
Stop settling for beans that have been sitting in transit. Experience the difference of a true Roast-to-Ship workflow.

If you are a fan of 90s animation and classic comedy, you know that some characters are truly timeless. As seen here I have created a piece of original art that captures the essence of the legendary "Blue Magic Character" in a way that feels both fresh and nostalgic. This tribute tee celebrates the iconic "spit-take" face that fans recognize instantly, bringing a touch of comedy-legend magic directly to your wardrobe.
What makes this shirt special is the attention to detail and quality. As detailed in this design is printed on a premium Next Level Tri-blend fabric (50% poly, 25% cotton, 25% rayon). It offers that sought-after "well-loved vintage" feel right from the first wear, combined with superior softness and breathability that ensures all-day comfort, whether you are wearing it to a theme park or just hanging out at home.
Beyond the comfort, the design itself is built to last. My debut book, 1982, is the essential starting point for anyone who has endured narcissistic abuse. It is a raw, honest look at what it takes to stop giving a fuck about what others expect of you and how to truly wipe the slate clean. Abuse thrives in silence and confusion, but 1982 provides the clarity you need to sever those ties, heal your perspective, and finally reclaim the energy you’ve been losing to the wrong people.
Once you have cleared the clutter and found your footing, you are ready for The Grid. This is the second step in the process—the tactical manual for building your empire. After two decades of entrepreneurship, I’ve distilled my experience into a system designed to help you organize your vision, stabilize your workflow, and turn your raw ambitions into a sustainable reality. The Grid isn't just about theory; it’s about the structure required to scale your life and your business with intention.
I believe in keeping things direct and authentic, which is why you won’t find these books hidden away in corporate bookstores. You can purchase both 1982 and The Grid directly through my Lulu storefront for just $19.82 each. By going direct, you’re supporting independent creation, and I’m able to get these tools into your hands without the corporate fluff. Click the link below, grab your copies, and let’s start building.

Most people assume that’s just "how coffee is." It’s not. It’s a sign that you’re drinking coffee that has been dead for months.
I recently decided to test a local roaster that claimed their coffee was "roasted just a few days ago." I picked up a bag, brewed it, and immediately felt that tell-tale dryness in my throat.
Here is the cold, hard truth: If your coffee leaves your mouth feeling dry, that roast date on the bag is a lie.
In the world of commercial coffee, there is a dirty secret: "Roasted Date" often isn't the day the beans hit the heat. It is the packaging date. The beans were likely roasted weeks ago, sat in a warehouse in a giant bin losing their soul, and then were bagged and stamped with a "fresh" label at the last possible second. By the time that bag sits on a grocery store shelf, the oils have already gone rancid. You aren't tasting the bean; you’re tasting the oxidation.
At Molly Dog Coffee, we don't play the grocery store game. We don't have warehouses where inventory gathers dust while the flavor profile dies a slow death.
When you order from us, we aren't pulling a bag off a shelf that's been sitting there since last month. We roast your coffee after you click "buy." We are roasting it to order and delivering it straight to your front door.
We pair that process with high-altitude, premium beans—which are naturally denser, sweeter, and more complex. We aren't cutting corners by letting our product sit in a distribution center for weeks until it's effectively rotten. We are delivering the kind of quality that leaves your palate clean, vibrant, and ready for the next cup.
If you’re tired of the "dry throat" experience that comes from mass-market stale beans, it’s time to stop settling for grocery store shelves.
[Link: Taste the difference of truly fresh, roasted-to-order coffee.]
You deserve a cup that tastes like coffee, not like a chemistry experiment. When you're ready to stop buying "dead" beans and start drinking something actually fresh, we’re ready for you.
On a serious note, I’ve lived the consequences of this industry. When I returned from Florida in 2023, I was admitted to the hospital for severe dehydration. It wasn't an accident—it was a direct result of the "rotten" store-bought coffee I had been drinking. That mass-market stuff doesn't just taste bad; it can actually rob your body of the water you need to function. I learned the hard way that when your coffee is compromised, your health is, too.
12oz Bag: $19.67 (Free Shipping)
1lb Bag: $30.00 — The perfect amount to keep you stocked for the month.
Don't let your morning be ruined—or your health compromised—by a grocery store shelf.

In 1983, they didn't have a studio. They had a shared living room in Dover, New Hampshire. They didn't have a marketing department. They had TV trays, cheap pencils, and a shared love for the comics they grew up reading.
They were just two broke artists messing around. And that is exactly how they built the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The story is legendary: Eastman was doodling to pass the time while they watched TV. He drew a turtle with a mask and nunchucks. He showed it to Laird, and they both started laughing.
The core of their business wasn't "market research." It was the irony.
A turtle is slow. A ninja is fast. Putting the two together was the definition of absurd. They didn't build it because they thought, "This will be a billion-dollar brand." They built it because they thought it was cool, and more importantly, they thought it would make them laugh.
When you’re starting out, you feel the need to look "professional." You want the fancy logo, the sleek website, the official-sounding name.
Eastman and Laird called their living room "Mirage Studios." It was a complete farce. There was no studio. There was no infrastructure. But naming it Mirage gave them the mental permission to act like they were a real operation.
Lesson: Don't wait for permission to be a pro. Name your "studio." Print your business cards. Act like the entity you want to become, even if your desk is currently a folding tray table.
When they started, they tried to give the turtles Japanese names, but nothing stuck. They wanted something that felt distinct, something that felt them. They cracked open a copy of Janson’s History of Art, started flipping through pages, and landed on Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael.
It was a pivot. It wasn't "on brand" for a gritty ninja comic, but that was the point. It was unconventional. It was different.
The TMNT origin story is the ultimate blueprint for the "Savage" entrepreneur:
1. Stop Overthinking: They didn't spend three years writing a white paper. They drew the characters and put them in a comic.
2. Use Your Environment: You don't need a studio in Boston or New York. You need a living room and a partner who isn't afraid to be weird with you.
3. Build What You Like: If you love it, other people will too. If you’re just trying to chase a market trend, you’ll never have the stamina to finish.
Eastman and Laird didn't start an empire. They started a comic book for themselves. That authenticity is why 40 years later, we’re still talking about them.
So, what are you sitting on? What’s the "stupid" idea you’re afraid to draw because it’s too weird or doesn't fit the "professional" mold?
At Honest Blue Radio, we’re changing the narrative. We’ve built a platform specifically designed to bridge the gap between being "on the internet" and actually being heard by a dedicated audience.
The Concept: Your Music, Your Control
We are opening the doors to a service that prioritizes the artist’s journey, not just a single song’s metadata. We offer a direct pipeline to radio play, allowing you to stay relevant and active all year long.
The Commitment: For an annual investment of $50, you gain a year-long partnership with Honest Blue Radio.
The Submission Power: You have the ability to submit up to 48 songs per year.
Total Flexibility: You can rotate your music weekly to keep your sound fresh, or you can choose to feature a core track for the entire year. You have the control to pivot based on your release schedule.
Rigorous Quality Control: Every song submitted goes through a screening process to ensure we maintain the high-quality, authentic vibe our listeners expect.
We are selecting only 24 musicians per year. By limiting the roster, we ensure that your name isn’t lost in a sea of millions of tracks. You aren't just an upload; you are a featured artist on the station.
1 Artist Spotlight: Your name and brand are front and center on honestblueradio.com.
2 Multi-Platform Access: Your music reaches listeners through our website and our dedicated app, available now in the App Store.
3 Real Radio Presence: Unlike a static playlist, you get the prestige and the "live" feeling of being on a radio station, complete with the discovery factor that streaming algorithms lack.
Break Free from the Algorithm
The current streaming landscape is built to keep listeners on an app, not to build a career for the artist. Honest Blue Radio is built for the artist who is tired of shouting into the void.
We provide the platform; you provide the sound. Together, we make sure that when you release music, people are actually listening.

Maybe the problem isn't your mattress. Maybe the problem is sitting right on your face—or something even deeper.
Think about your day. If you wear glasses or sunglasses, that frame has been resting on the bridge of your nose for 12, 14, or 16 hours. You don't notice it anymore because you’ve become desensitized. But your body hasn't.
That specific spot—the bridge of the nose between your eyes—is significant. Metaphysically, it’s the seat of the Third Eye. In traditional Chinese medicine, this area corresponds to the Yintang acupuncture point, famously known for its ability to calm the spirit, clear the mind, and induce deep, restful sleep.
By wearing glasses all day, you are essentially keeping this critical pressure point under constant, low-level compression. You are creating a "visual armor" that never truly comes off, telling your nervous system that you are still in "alert" or "focus" mode long after the sun has gone down.
I know this connection is real, and I know the consequences of blocking that energy center are severe. Between 2021 and 2023, I was in a relationship with a woman from Louisiana. During that time, she did something to me—a sexual act that physically and energetically blocked my third eye. It wasn't just a metaphor; it landed me in the hospital, completely unable to sleep. That experience was my wake-up call. It proved to me, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there is an undeniable, powerful connection between the health of your third eye and your ability to drift off at night.
If you want to enter a state of deep, restorative rest, your body needs to feel unrestricted.
How can you expect to trigger your body’s natural "off switch" when you’ve been physically pinning down that Yintang point all day? When you keep that bridge constricted, you’re essentially keeping a door slammed shut that needs to be wide open for true mental decompression. You aren't just wearing frames; you are blocking the body’s innate ability to shift from the chaos of the day into the stillness of the night.
It’s time to stop normalizing the constriction. If you want to fix your sleep, you need a ritual that acknowledges the physical toll your gear is taking on you. Here is your protocol for tonight:
1 The Hard Stop: One hour before bed, the glasses come off. No exceptions. If you need vision correction, switch to a pair that doesn't put pressure on the bridge, or just commit to being "blind" and resting your eyes.
2 Activate the Point: Take your thumb and forefinger and gently massage the bridge of your nose right between your eyes. Stimulate that Yintang point with light, rhythmic pressure. Feel the tension dissipate. You’re literally "unblocking" the connection and signaling to your nervous system that it’s time to settle.
3 Surrender the Visuals: Don’t just take the glasses off—put them in a case, put them in a drawer, or hide them. When the frames are out of your line of sight, your brain gets the message that the "work day" is officially over.
This is a part of my ongoing exploration into intentional living and cutting through the noise. Stop looking for the solution in a bottle and start looking at what you’re physically carrying into your bed. Join us every night on YouTube, where we stream classical music live to help you unwind, fall asleep, and stay asleep all night.

Behind the Curtain: The Reality at Pope Francis Preparatory School
Institutions often cultivate a specific public image—one of moral high ground, academic rigor, and financial stability. But what happens when the reality behind the scenes doesn’t align with the marketing?
My time teaching technology at Pope Francis Preparatory School was a stark lesson in how administrative priorities can impact both the staff and the students. This is my story of navigating a role where resources were scarce, expectations were confusing, and the culture felt fundamentally disconnected from the values the school claimed to uphold.
The history of Pope Francis Preparatory School is marked by the 2011 tornado that decimated the original Cathedral and Holyoke Catholic schools. The subsequent merger and the move into a new facility in 2018 were presented as a fresh start.
However, when I joined the staff in 2016, the reality of the daily operation felt far removed from the narrative of a thriving, well-funded institution. Interestingly, students had originally proposed a different name for the institution, but the administration decided against it, choosing instead to "coat-tail" the Pope by naming it Pope Francis High School in the hopes that he would donate. Later, the name was changed to Pope Francis Preparatory School—a move designed to project more prestige and justify higher tuition fees.
When I was hired to teach technology in 2016, I arrived with a commitment to my students. Yet, I was immediately met with a lack of support that made effective teaching nearly impossible:
Curriculum Constraints: I was assigned to teach Accounting—a subject outside my scope—and told by administration that they could not change it.
Lack of Essential Tools: There was no budget provided for industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop or AutoCAD. To provide any semblance of a curriculum, I had to spend my own time researching and implementing freeware.
The IT Reality: While I struggled to provide a technological education without a budget, support from the IT department remained absent.
My tenure there was marked by administrative decisions that often seemed arbitrary or contradictory. The administration used love-bombing tactics, such as promising additional pay for parking lot duty, but in reality, this involved a "slow drip" pay structure. I was forced to fill out "green sheets" weekly because they did not trust staff to report their own hours accurately.
Furthermore, while the school leaned heavily into its religious identity, I witnessed double standards that were difficult to reconcile. I was tasked with monitoring the bathroom for smoking students, despite the fact that a member of the administration—who also held a position of religious leadership—engaged in the same behavior.
The environment was, in a word, draining. I was dealing with significant personal grief following the loss of my father in 2017, only to have that grief met with a lack of sensitivity from leadership. My time at the school ended abruptly after a personal social media post—intended for friends only—was screenshotted and shared with Cindy Geiger and Dr. Paul Harrington. I was fired over a Zoom call, despite the fact that my posts never mentioned the school by name and were focused entirely on my own experiences with burnout and bullying.
Following my termination, the school contested my employment status, leading me to collect benefits during the pandemic for a year and a half. This period forced me into gig work like DoorDash and Uber, leading to severe burnout. I was admitted to multiple hospitals for exhaustion and sleep issues, where I was placed in wards with substance abuse patients because the medical staff did not understand the nature of my burnout.
Once I recovered, I hit the school with a 26-point "bully audit" that I will be revealing here in the coming months. Their response was that they had "no accounts" of my claims and only hold files for three years. Yet, while I was hospitalized in 2023, the school was still using my image on their website.
I still hold a document from Dr. Paul Harrington stating that the school’s priority was to grow their social media presence—a goal they cited as a reason for my firing. Yet, they provided me with absolutely no resources or training to achieve this. They had a small studio on-site, but they never trained me on how to use it; in fact, a student had to teach me the ropes.
Today, they have fewer than 2,000 subscribers on YouTube, while I have grown my own presence to over 7,000. It raises the question: was it really me, or was it the institution that lacked the vision and tools to grow? I am just one person, and they gave me nothing to grow with.
Over the last 21 years, I have launched five different businesses. I have poured my time, energy, and resources into building things from the ground up. Yet, today, I have zero to my name. I have always operated with a mindset of community and reinvestment—the true spirit of a non-profit.
When you look at an institution like Pope Francis Preparatory School, they carry the "non-profit" label. They manage an $18 million Cardinal Fund and charge families $15,000 in annual tuition, all while maintaining that tax-exempt status. But it forces me to ask: What is the truth behind those numbers? When an organization claims to be non-profit, the public expects that revenue to be poured back into the mission, the students, and the staff who make the school function.
Instead, they aggressively glorify their sports programs on Instagram to maintain an image of success, yet they turn off comments on their YouTube morning prayers to avoid accountability or feedback. They even utilize stolen footage for their sports content, raising even more questions about the ethics behind the brand.
Disclaimer: This blog post is a personal account based on my own experiences and recollections while employed at Pope Francis Preparatory School. It represents my perspective on the working environment and administrative practices during my time there.

Back then, tattoos were for sailors, outlaws, and the guys you’d see on Miami Ink looking tough. My friend was actually on that show years ago. At the time? Not a drop of ink on him. Fast forward to now, and he’s covered. Meanwhile, I’m still listening to the ghost of my mother’s warning in the back of my head.
The Truth About "Toxic" Ink
When you get a tattoo, you aren't just getting "art." You are triggering an immune response. Your body’s white blood cells, specifically macrophages, see that ink as an intruder. They literally "eat" the pigment to try and clear it out of your system.
The ink doesn't just stay in a static bubble. Studies have shown that tiny particles of tattoo pigment migrate through your system and settle into your lymph nodes. For years, we thought tattoos were just a skin-deep commitment. In reality, they are a lifelong engagement with your lymphatic system. Is it "bad" for your blood? There’s ongoing research into whether the chemicals in some inks could increase risks for things like lymphoma, but we’re still looking for the hard, "cause-and-effect" proof.
While one camp is still worried about blood toxicity, the other camp is spending thousands of dollars to tattoo their own scalps.
I had a friend who went silent—total ghost mode. When he finally popped back up, he’d dropped a few grand on Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP). He had thousands of tiny, calculated dots tattooed onto his head to mimic the look of a buzzed haircut. His wife was his biggest cheerleader, apparently loving the "new look."
Think about that for a second. We’ve gone from being terrified that a tattoo would poison our blood to paying a premium to turn our heads into a printer-dot simulation of hair follicles.
It’s the ultimate irony of human vanity. We fear the "toxins" of a cool traditional piece, but we’ll happily invite a needle to tattoo our scalps to chase the ghost of a hairline we lost a decade ago.
And if you’re still worried about the health risks, just look at the music industry. You’ve got legends like Ozzy Osbourne, the "Prince of Darkness," who had been rocking iconic, legendary tattoos for over fifty years. Then there’s Travis Barker, who is almost entirely covered in ink and has lived a high-energy, multi-decade career that shows no signs of stopping. Even David Bowie, a man who pushed every boundary in music, left behind a legacy that continues to inspire thousands of tattoos today, proving that ink doesn't have to cut a life short. Bowie did have one tat of a dolphin, a man riding a dolphin with a little frog, and a Japanese translation of the Serenity prayer. He designed it himself and had it inked in Japan in 1991. This was to confess his love for his wife Iman.
We love to curate our image. We’ll worry about the "purity" of our blood until it’s time to cover our insecurities—then suddenly, the "toxins" don't matter anymore.
Whether it’s a sleeve that tells a story or a scalp full of dots to hide the balding, tattoos are the permanent mark of our own neuroses. So, get the ink if you want it. Just don’t pretend it’s not part of you now—literally.
I love art and tattoo art. I’m not here to tell you what to do with your body. Heck, I had my ears pierced back in high school and still have the holes. I can draw you anything you could turn into a tattoo. Tattoo artists are amazing, even if putting my friend on Miami Ink was a big publicity stunt.

I spent yesterday at Buttery Brook Park for my niece’s high school graduation party, and it was a powerful reminder of why this space is the absolute heartbeat of South Hadley. There’s something special about a place that serves as a living, breathing history of our community—a spot where generations of families have marked their biggest milestones.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through Western Massachusetts, Buttery Brook isn’t just a park; it’s a community time capsule.
Old-timers might remember the days of the in-ground pool, but today, that space has evolved into something even more dynamic. The park has been masterfully adapted to meet the needs of every generation, transforming from a quiet plot of land into a hub for modern recreation.
The best parks are the ones that reinvent themselves with the seasons. Buttery Brook nails this "flywheel" effect perfectly:
Summer Energy: When the weather turns, the park explodes with life. It’s the ultimate spot for summer birthday parties, thanks to the spray park that keeps the kids cool. If you’re looking to get active, the pickleball courts are always buzzing. And, if you’re a fan of retro culture like I am, you cannot miss the Friday Night Cruise Nights. There’s nothing quite like walking through rows of vintage classic cars while the sun sets over the park.
Winter Magic: When the temperatures drop, the park shifts gears into something truly nostalgic. If you haven’t experienced Santa’s Land, you’re missing a local treasure. It’s a generational tradition: families show up for pictures with Santa, followed by cookies and coloring books handed out by Mrs. Claus. Grab a cup of hot chocolate on the log cabin porch, take a stroll through the light displays, and you’ll see exactly why parents who visited as kids are now bringing their own grandchildren.
In an era where everyone is glued to screens, spaces like Buttery Brook Park are vital. It’s where graduation memories are made, where neighbors meet on the pickleball court, and where the history of South Hadley stays alive through shared experiences.
If you haven’t been by lately, do yourself a favor: pack a chair, grab a coffee, and head over on a Friday night. Take in the cars, the community, and the legacy of a park that continues to give back to the town.
Have a favorite memory at Buttery Brook? Drop a comment below—I’d love to hear your story.

I’ve spent ten years in the classroom, and let’s just be honest: the job doesn't end just because you’ve technically clocked out or, you know, transitioned to the afterlife. I realized I never shared the Wi-Fi password, and with a Monday morning quiz on the horizon, I had no choice but to return from the dead.
My latest track, "Ghost Teacher," is officially live on Honest Blue Radio. It’s a bit of a departure from the usual, but it captures the absurdity and the grind of modern education.
Between the jammed copiers at noon and the shift to Google Classroom, things look different now. But the core? It’s the same. My desk might be empty, but the classroom is packed. The kids are lining up with their phones, shouting for something spooky, and filming the open door. They’re finding art on the board, hearts in the attendance, and—against all odds—they’re actually learning.
At Honest Blue, we’re all about raw, unfiltered storytelling. This song isn't just about a phantom in a classroom; it’s about persistence. It’s about being the teacher who "can’t be captured" but still fills the seats. Even from the sky, the roster keeps growing, the lesson plans are prepared, and the enrollment is on the rise.
If you’ve ever felt like a phantom in your own workplace—haunting the hallways, making things happen when everyone else has given up—this one’s for you.
Check out the track below, and welcome to the haunted classroom. There’s always room for one more.

For the true aficionados who have watched every episode enough times to recite lines in their sleep, we’ve created something special. If you’re looking for the perfect soundtrack to your next rewatch party, look no further than our new upbeat anthem: "A Song About Nothing."
Instead of just talking about the show, we packed this track with the references that define the series. Whether you're a fan of the early days or a devotee of the final season, this song is designed to take you on a nostalgic trip through the streets of New York City.
The References: From iconic lines to those blink-and-you-miss-it episode moments, we’ve woven them into the rhythm.
The Vibe: It’s fast-paced, fun, and captures the frantic, witty energy of Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer.
The Perfect Companion: It’s the ideal song to play while you’re "mastering your domain," standing in line for a soup kitchen, or just trying to navigate life's petty annoyances.
A quick note for our listeners: As you dive into the track, remember: don't ever "yada, yada, yada" the parts about sex—they are right there in the song, and they’re essential to the rhythm of the madness!
You don’t need to be a "close talker" or a "low talker" to hear it—"A Song About Nothing" is available right now.
"It’s a song... about nothing. We’re going to be talking about nothing, and by doing so, we’ll be singing about everything."
We want to hear from you! Which Seinfeld episode or specific reference did you catch in the song first? Head over to your preferred streaming platform, give it a spin, and let us know your favorite lyrics.

The landscape of online education has shifted. For years, the default answer was to upload to a massive marketplace. Recently, however, there has been a massive push toward private, community-based platforms. If you are trying to decide between a marketplace like Udemy and a community-first tool like Skool, you aren't just choosing software—you are choosing your entire business philosophy.
Here is the breakdown of the two models and how to know which one fits your goals.
Udemy operates on a "storefront" principle. When you publish a course there, you are essentially renting shelf space in a global digital mall.
The Pro: In-built Traffic. You don’t need a massive social media following to get your first 100 students. Udemy’s algorithm and search functions do the heavy lifting of finding students for you.
The Con: Commoditization. Because you are competing with thousands of other courses, price becomes the primary differentiator. Udemy frequently discounts courses, which can dilute the perceived value of your work.
The Trade-off: You surrender control and data in exchange for reach. You don't "own" the student relationship in the same way you would on your own site; the platform controls the interface, the branding, and the direct communication channels.
Skool represents the "digital clubhouse" philosophy. It is not designed to find students for you; it is designed to keep the students you already have engaged, connected, and coming back.
The Pro: Retention and Engagement. Through gamification (leaderboards, levels) and social feeds, Skool turns a static course into a living community. It is designed for creators who want to build a "tribe" rather than just sell a product.
The Con: The "Bring Your Own Traffic" Problem. If you do not have an existing email list, YouTube channel, or social media presence, your Skool community will remain empty. It is a tool for managing an audience, not building one from scratch.
The Trade-off: You pay for the privilege of owning your ecosystem. You gain full control over the branding, pricing, and the ability to foster direct, high-value connections between your students.
The decision usually comes down to where you are in your business lifecycle:
1 Choose a Marketplace (Udemy) if: You are in the "Discovery Phase." Your primary goal is to get your content in front of as many eyes as possible, you don’t have a large external following, and you prefer a passive income model that doesn’t require daily community management.
2 Choose a Community Platform (Skool) if: You are in the "Loyalty Phase." You have an audience that already trusts you, and you want to move them away from low-cost, one-off transactions toward high-value, recurring memberships or deep-dive coaching.
There is no "better" platform—only the right platform for your current objective.
If you want scale, reach, and low-maintenance, a marketplace is your best bet. If you want depth, influence, and the ability to own your relationship with your students, a community-first approach is the future. Stop looking for a "magic platform" and start looking at the business model you are trying to build.
The most glaring difference between the two platforms is how they extract their "cut." This is where many creators get caught off guard.
Skool is "Pay-to-Play": Skool functions as a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) tool. You pay a recurring monthly subscription—either $9 or $99—to host your community and courses. Because you are paying for the software, you are the customer, and you retain a much higher percentage of your earnings. You are betting on your ability to generate enough revenue to make that monthly fee an insignificant expense.
Udemy is "Free-to-Start": Udemy is free to join, free to host, and free to publish. There is no "entry fee" or monthly subscription. However, the cost is hidden in the revenue share. Instead of a flat fee, Udemy takes a significant commission on every single sale—often between 37% and 63% depending on how the student found you.

Back then, we idolized the Ferris Buellers of the world—the ones who knew how to "carpe diem" by outsmarting the system, not by hiding from it. We saved our hard-earned cash from part-time jobs to buy movies and clothes that defined our identity. It was a messy, loud, and tactile kind of rebellion.
Fast forward to today, and that friction has been replaced by a quiet, digital numbness. The rebellion is gone, replaced by a generation that hides behind screens, often using the anonymity of the internet to tear down creators or churn out AI-generated "slop" for algorithm points.
In the classroom, the scene is just as bleak. The head-turning defiance of the 90s has evolved into total apathy: headphones in, heads down, and a complete, silent erasure of authority. They aren't trying to outsmart the system; they’ve simply opted out of the human experience altogether.
Nowhere is this hollow culture more evident than in our schools. I recently worked as a substitute teacher where the principal—who called herself "Momma Bird"—spent her time handing out candy to students on their birthdays.
Think about that. A leader struggling to even walk across a room, choosing to prioritize sugar over substance. She wasn't building respect; she was practicing "love bombing." It’s a pathetic, performative attempt to buy affection from children without having to do the hard work of actual teaching or discipline. It’s transactional, it’s shallow, and it’s a perfect microcosm of what we’ve taught these kids to expect: if you play along with the act, you get the dopamine hit.
I spent ten years in the teaching profession, and if there’s one thing I learned, it’s that the school system is stuck in a permanent state of obsolescence. In an age where the "art" of today is entirely digital, my departments were never funded for essential tools like Photoshop, Procreate, or AutoCAD. While the world outside was advancing, the school treated the arts like a punchline, leaving us to operate without the very software that defines modern creativity.
It is a bitter irony: the same parents who refuse to advocate for art funding in schools will gladly hand over a $1,000 iPhone to a student who has no interest in using it creatively. We aren't just failing to fund the arts; we are actively devaluing them in favor of consumption.
The stagnation is systemic. I’ve stood in classrooms where, in the middle of winter, the system was pumping out cold air—a literal manifestation of how little the environment prioritizes the comfort or development of the students. We have handed these kids the sum total of human knowledge in their pockets, yet the dynamic remains broken. A student can look up any information a teacher is presenting within seconds, but they never will.
My own experience is proof of just how deep the dysfunction goes. I was fired from a substitute position because I had a TikTok account with 15.1k followers. At the time, I was making a meager $175 a month, subbing only two days. The administration panicked, blinded by the false assumption that my follower count equaled massive wealth. They didn't see a creative person—they saw a threat.
The reality was that I was making zero dollars from the platform. I wasn't subbing for content; I was subbing to put food on my table, all while enjoying being around the youth and genuinely chatting with them. They couldn't grasp that reality, preferring to punish creativity rather than support a teacher who actually connected with students.
These kids aren't defining themselves through actions or subcultures; they are defining themselves by the color of their phone or the quality of their camera—a camera they never actually use to capture the beauty or chaos of their own lives. They would rather passively listen to a song pushed by an algorithm on Spotify than discover music that actually means something.
The "modern commercialism trap" has closed around them. Parents, perhaps exhausted or disillusioned, substitute real discipline for cheap sugar and endless screen time. Health is treated as an afterthought, and personal identity is reduced to whichever brand ecosystem they were born into.
In the 90s, we used our clothes and our media to shout, "I am here." Today, the youth are being conditioned to simply consume, click, and obey. We’ve traded the Ferris Bueller-esque spark of life for a quiet, comfortable, and highly-monetized surrender to the status quo. The rebellion didn't die out; it was bought off with an iPhone, a bag of candy, and a "Momma Bird" smile.

The new design, which mirrors the stark, high-contrast palette seen in Terminal C, leans heavily into bright whites, polished surfaces, and minimalist geometry. While the goal of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) is to provide an "elevated experience" and modernize facilities, the transition feels jarring to many.
Where there was once character, there is now cold efficiency. For travelers accustomed to the warmer, older feel of the airport, the new vast, white-on-white expanses can feel unwelcoming. It lacks the "homie" vibe that made MCO feel like a cozy, if busy, starting point for a Florida vacation. Instead, you’re greeted by an environment that feels designed for rapid transit rather than lingering—perfect for a hospital, perhaps, but questionable for the first impression of one of the world's most visited tourism destinations.
It is a classic trap: assuming that a massive capital investment automatically equates to a better passenger experience. The project is part of a larger $5.9 billion investment program aimed at capacity, efficiency, and technology. And to be fair, these upgrades do bring real benefits:
Upgraded Infrastructure: New flooring, lighting, and modernized wall finishes.
Improved Capacity: Expanded restrooms and better-equipped seating areas.
Technological Gains: Faster, more reliable gate-link systems and advanced wayfinding.
But there is a difference between a functional airport and a pleasant one. When you prioritize sterility and sleek lines over comfort and warmth, you risk alienating the very people you’re trying to serve. People will still travel to Florida—they have to—but a cold, hospital-like environment doesn't exactly encourage anyone to arrive early, enjoy a meal, or stay a little longer before their flight.
At the end of the day, an airport is the front door to our state. It should reflect the energy, the heat, and the soul of Florida—not the soul-crushing beige of a sterile corridor. As the renovations continue through 2028, one has to wonder if we’ve traded away the heart of the airport for a high-tech facelift that nobody asked for.
Sometimes, the best investment isn't the one that makes everything look brand new; it's the one that respects the identity of the place.

That is the essence of Honest Jay of Honest Blue Radio. In a world obsessed with material riches, Jay stands apart, proving that true "royalty" isn't measured in gold coins, but in the warmth of one’s character.
To celebrate this, we’ve brought you "Prince Hottie," a parody track inspired by the iconic Aladdin classic, "Prince Ali." But forget the pomp, the elephants, and the stolen jewels—this is the reality of Honest Jay.
"Prince Ali" is all about manufactured grandeur. "Prince Hottie," however, is a stripped-back, honest look at what happens when you remove the smoke and mirrors.
When you listen to the track, you’ll hear the true story of how Jay moves through the world. He doesn’t offer treasures or bribes; he offers the only things that actually make a difference:
Unwavering Kindness: While others are busy climbing ladders, Jay is busy building bridges through genuine human connection.
The Power of Art & Photography: Armed with a camera and a vision, Jay captures the soul of the people around him, turning everyday moments into masterpieces.
A Fresh Cup of Coffee: Sometimes, the greatest act of hospitality isn’t a palace—it’s a fresh, hot cup of coffee shared with someone who needs to be heard.
"Prince Hottie" serves as an anthem for the underdogs, the creatives, and the kind-hearted souls who feel like they don't fit into a society obsessed with status.
Jay shows us that you don’t need a sultan’s treasury to be "The Ultimate Attractive Prince". His currency is his integrity, his creativity, and his dedication to the community at HonestBlueRadio.com.
Check out the track and discover why, sometimes, having nothing but love and art to give is the richest way to live.
What do you think defines a "Prince" in today's world—is it money, or is it the impact one has on others?

Boston, Massachusetts, is a city where every brick has a story, every corner holds a piece of history, and the energy is just as relentless as the legendary New England weather. Whether you’re a history buff, a sports fanatic, or someone just looking for the perfect bowl of clam chowder, the "Hub of the Universe" has something for you.
But if you’re planning a trip, I’m going to give it to you straight: Boston is a nightmare to drive in.
If you’ve heard stories about Boston drivers, believe them. The city wasn’t planned; it evolved from colonial-era cow paths that eventually turned into some of the most confusing, one-way-dominated, and congested street grids in America.
Attempting to find street parking in the city center is an exercise in futility. Between "Resident Parking Only" zones that will get you ticketed in minutes, strict two-hour meter limits, and the constant threat of being towed, your stress levels will skyrocket before you even see a landmark. If you are planning to visit, save your sanity: park your car at a suburban commuter rail station or a garage on the outskirts, and embrace the local transit system.
Once you’ve ditched the car, Boston becomes infinitely more enjoyable. The city is incredibly walkable, and the MBTA (the "T")—our iconic subway system—will get you where you need to go for a fraction of the cost of a parking garage.
Boston Common: Start your journey here at America’s oldest public park. It’s the anchor of the city and the official starting point of the Freedom Trail. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee and people-watching, visiting the Frog Pond (a spray pool in summer and an ice rink in winter), or checking out the beautiful Soldiers and Sailors Monument, it’s the heartbeat of the city. Don't miss "The Embrace" memorial nearby, a powerful tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King.
Walk the Freedom Trail: It’s the ultimate history lesson. You’ll hit 16 significant historical sites, including the Old North Church and the Paul Revere House, all linked by a red brick path.
The Public Garden: Located right next to the Common, this is America’s first public botanical garden. It’s famous for the iconic Swan Boats and the adorable "Make Way for Ducklings" statues.
The North End: Wander through the narrow streets of Boston’s "Little Italy." Grab a cannoli from Mike’s or Modern Pastry, then find a quiet corner to listen to the city’s hum.
Fenway Park: Even if you aren't a baseball fan, the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball is a shrine worth visiting.
The Seaport District: For a modern contrast to the historic neighborhoods, head down to the waterfront for incredible skyline views, museums, and some of the best seafood in the country.
If you find yourself craving something a little more mysterious, hop on the Commuter Rail at North Station and head 30 minutes north to Salem, Massachusetts.
Salem is world-famous for its connection to the 1692 Witch Trials, and it leans into that history with a uniquely macabre charm. You can visit the Salem Witch Museum, wander the historic grounds of the House of the Seven Gables, or just soak in the atmospheric, cobblestoned streets that feel like they’ve been pulled straight out of a gothic novel.
Pro-Tip: If you go in October, be prepared for massive crowds. Visit during the shoulder season (late spring or November) to enjoy the spooky vibes without the shoulder-to-shoulder tourists.
Just a short trolley ride or a brisk walk from downtown Salem, you’ll find Salem Willows Park. It’s a hidden gem for anyone wanting to step back in time. This 35-acre oceanfront park is famous for its 1801 white willow trees and its classic, old-school arcade.
It’s the perfect place to grab some legendary local popcorn, take a spin on the historic 1905 carousel, or just sit by the water and watch the boats go by. It’s less "witchy" and more "classic New England summer," offering a beautiful, breezy contrast to the intensity of the city.
There’s a rhythm to Boston—the clack of the T train, the distant roar of the crowds, and the quiet beauty of the Charles River. I wanted to capture that feeling, so I wrote a track that feels like walking down Newbury Street at dusk.
[Listen to "Boston" below]
Music is the best way to get the vibe of a city before you even step foot on the pavement. Crank this up as you ride the Red Line or walk through Beacon Hill—it’s the perfect companion for your New England adventure.
1 Use the Apps: If you absolutely must park, use ParkBoston for metered spots or ParkMobile to reserve a garage spot ahead of time. It’s the only way to ensure you aren't circling the block for hours.
2 Get a CharlieCard: Pick one up at any T station for the easiest way to tap-and-go on the subway and bus lines.
3 Check the Calendar: Boston is a college town and a sports hub. Always check for events at TD Garden or Fenway Park; when the Red Sox or Celtics are playing, the entire city shifts gears, and navigating becomes even trickier.
Boston is a tough, beautiful, unapologetic city. It’s worth the travel, but show it some respect—leave the keys in the hotel room, put on some comfortable walking shoes, and let the city show you what it’s really made of.
Are you planning a trip to the Northeast? Let me know in the comments what you’re most excited to see—or if you’ve got a "Boston driving nightmare" story of your own!

The recent closure of MuppetVision 3D is a masterclass in Disney’s failure to understand their audience
Let’s stop pretending that Disney’s constant "closing and rebranding" cycle is a creative choice. It isn't. It’s a lazy, bottom-line addiction to FOMO—Fear Of Missing Out.
They don’t build community; they build panic. They dangle a closing date, drag in the hardcore fans—including Jim Henson’s own family—for a tearful goodbye, and then pivot to the next "big thing." They force a spike in attendance, sell a mountain of limited-edition merch, and then act shocked when the "luster" wears off three months later.
The "Electric Mayhem" Problem
Let’s be honest about the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster overhaul. Aerosmith worked because it was a real, high-octane rock band. It had grit. Now, you’ve got the Electric Mayhem playing covers. They’re great, but they’re inherently derivative. Disney is effectively using the Muppets to "coattail" off the legacy of real bands rather than doing the hard work of creating a dynamic, evolving environment.
The irony is that the blueprint for success is sitting right there in Disneyland. The Haunted Mansion overlay for The Nightmare Before Christmas proves that you can have a "limited-time" experience that actually brings people back year after year. It’s a seasonal event, not a permanent deletion.
Month 1: A deep-dive, modernized tribute to the legends (like an updated Aerosmith experience).
Month 2: A rotating spotlight on a current, relevant band that actually drives that specific fanbase to the park.
Month 3: A Muppet-driven "Backstage Pass" experience.
If they had any real "savage" marketing sense, the end of that coaster ride should be the ultimate call to action: “Don’t forget to check out our updated MuppetVision 3D—Jim Henson’s final masterpiece—right next door.”*
Instead, they broke the cycle. They broke the brand continuity. They replaced an entire world of character and heart with another "IP" expansion. And for what? So the original show could be relegated to an Apple Vision Pro headset? Sending Jim Henson’s final creation to die in a VR space is the ultimate admission that they’ve lost the plot. They aren't interested in maintaining greatness; they're interested in archiving it so they can clear the floor for the next piece of content to sell.
Disney’s current approach is all-or-nothing: "Throw all your chips in the middle, burn it down, and rebuild." It’s an expensive way to ignore the obvious. They are so focused on the short-term sales of plushies and pins that they’ve forgotten how to build a park that people want to return to for the experience itself.
They don't want a loyal, recurring audience. They want a captive one that clicks "Buy" because they’re terrified the ride they love will be gone by the next fiscal quarter.
And don't even get me started on the missed opportunities. They have the rights to Powerline—the ultimate 90s icon—and they treat him like he doesn't exist. You could put Powerline merch on the shelves and it would sell out like hotcakes in an hour. But instead, they leave the shelves stocked with generic filler while the characters fans actually want to support get relegated to the back burner.
Disney doesn't have a pulse on their fan base at all. They’re so busy chasing their own tail with manufactured scarcity that they’ve completely ignored the genuine, organic love people have for these properties. It’s not magic; it’s a short-sighted, corporate-mandated revolving door. And quite frankly? It’s exhausting.
Instead of relegating a masterpiece to a VR headset to die, they could have easily built out an Interactive Muppet Lab in the exit area—a move that would have turned a passive experience into a viral, shareable moment.
Green Screen Immersion: They could have installed a simple, high-tech green screen studio where guests could step in and "interact" with characters like Kermit, Fozzie, or Gonzo.
Shareable Memories: With a quick 30-second turnaround, that video could be emailed directly to the guest, providing them with a personalized digital souvenir that they would immediately post to social media.
The Power of Personalization: People don’t just want to watch content; they want to be in it. That kind of organic, fan-generated content is worth more than any paid marketing campaign, and it would have provided a massive, constant incentive for families to keep coming back to the Muppet Courtyard.
Disney treats their parks like a static museum of "content" they can rotate in and out, rather than a living, breathing experience. They have the technology to make the Muppets part of the guests' story, but they’re too busy chasing the next "FOMO" event to realize that the long-term equity of a brand lives in the connection between the character and the fan.
Adding an interactive layer wouldn't just have kept MuppetVision 3D* relevant—it would have turned the area into a social media engine that would have driven record attendance for years. Instead, they chose the "lazy" route: gut it, archive it, and move on to the next IP.
It’s not just a missed opportunity—it’s a failure to understand what makes these parks special in the first place.

I wrote this book because I know how isolating that experience can be. I wanted to create a resource that not only validates what you’ve been through but helps you navigate the path back to yourself.
This isn’t just a book about the problem; it’s about the recovery. It’s about reclaiming your power, setting boundaries, and learning how to heal when it feels like the world has been turned upside down.
I know how important it is for resources like this to be accessible to those who need them most. That is why I have made the book available through Kindle Unlimited.

The Carousel of Progress first debuted at the 1964–1965 New York World’s Fair. It was a project deeply personal to Walt Disney, serving as a manifestation of his belief that tomorrow would be a "great big beautiful" place, powered by human ingenuity and technological advancement. The attraction was designed to showcase how the modern home evolved through the 20th century, a theme that has resonated with generations of park guests.
While the show has seen several iterations since its move to Florida, the upcoming refresh is set to be the most comprehensive yet. Starting on July 6, 2026, the attraction will temporarily close to undergo a major transformation.
The new version aims to bridge the gap between Walt Disney’s original vision and the sensibilities of modern audiences. Guests will be welcomed by a brand-new opening scene that honors the attraction’s origins with an Audio-Animatronic figure of Walt Disney, inspired by the 1964 World’s Fair.
When the doors reopen in 2027, guests will experience an updated timeline that keeps the spirit of progress alive:
The show’s acts will transition through the 1960s, the 1980s, and the turn of the millennium on New Year’s Eve 1999.
The experience will conclude with a brand-new, futuristic finale centered on space travel and advanced technology.
Despite these updates, the beloved, fan-favorite theme song, "There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow," will remain a central part of the experience, ensuring the heart of the attraction stays intact.
The Carousel of Progress has always been about moving forward, and this refresh is a testament to that philosophy. While we will certainly miss the current iteration during its closure, the promise of a revitalized show that honors its historical roots is well worth the wait.

It’s time to stop wondering and start seeing the truth. That coffee isn't flavored. It’s perfumed.
Here is the industry secret: There is no such thing as a hazelnut coffee bean. When you buy mass-market flavored coffee, you aren't paying for a unique roast. You’re paying for a "blank canvas."
Big, corporate coffee companies source massive batches of commodity-grade, neutral beans. They aren't looking for terroir or nuanced profiles; they are looking for the cheapest, most "invisible" bean possible. Once they roast them, these beans are dumped into massive industrial tumblers and sprayed with a chemical slurry.
This slurry is usually a mix of propylene glycol (the solvent) and synthetic flavor esters—basically, laboratory-created scents designed to trick your brain into thinking you’re smelling nuts or vanilla.
Because the beans are still warm from the roaster, their pores are open, and they soak up that chemical mix like a sponge. The same batch of beans can be "Hazelnut" in one hour, "French Vanilla" the next, and "Caramel" by the afternoon.
You are drinking the same stale, corporate bean, just wearing a different chemical cologne.
Your brain is smarter than the marketing department. It knows that high-quality, freshly roasted coffee should be sweet, complex, and smooth, thanks to the natural sugars created during the roasting process.
When you drink "perfumed" coffee, your brain detects a glitch: a strong, artificial smell, followed by a thin, bitter, metallic liquid. That’s the "Diet Coke" effect—the chemical mask clashing with the oxidation of a bean that has been sitting in a warehouse for six months.
At Molly Dog Coffee, we don't have anything to hide. We don't need "flavor esters" because we start with beans that actually have a story to tell.
When you roast-to-order, the flavor is in the bean, not in a bottle of industrial chemicals. We respect the process enough to let the natural notes—the chocolate, the fruit, the earthiness—shine through. You don't need a mask when the face underneath is actually beautiful.
Stop drinking the perfume. Start drinking the coffee.
Check out our current small-batch roasts, where the only thing you’ll taste is the bean.

For modern crafters, makers, and digital creators, capturing that exact nostalgia is a powerful way to stand out. But as any experienced creator knows, there is a massive gulf between a cheap, scraped internet graphic and a professional-grade digital asset.
If you are tired of wrestling with sloppy nodes, open vector paths, and low-res digital files that ruin your blank apparel or laser materials, it’s time to level up.
[ Preview the Premium 23-Piece Retro Nostalgia SVG & PNG Bundle Here ]
The Creative Process: 30 Years of Ink and Insight
This curated 23-piece vector bundle wasn't generated by a faceless Al bot or scraped from a wholesale link directory. It was built line by line, curve by curve, by a professional artist with over 30 years of design and illustration experience.
When a digital asset is built by a human who understands the technical mechanics of cutting machines, laser engravers, and high-end screen printing, the difference is immediate:
Flawless Layering: Crisp, distinct layers that make color separation effortless in Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio.
Optimized Paths: Perfectly smooth geometric curves that won't cause your machine's blade to drag, tear, or stall.
High-Impact Presentation: Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) paired with crisp, high-resolution Portable Network Graphics (PNG) for flawless printing.
Behind the Aesthetic: What's Inside the Collection?
This premium 23-file collection leans heavily into clean, abstract, and structural theme park nostalgia, focusing on the golden eras of design:
1. Mid-Century Modern & Retro-Futurism
Clean geometric lines, timeless structural silhouettes, and mass-transit concepts that celebrate the original architecture of imagination. Think bold shapes and minimalist optimism.
2. The Grid & Neon Geometry
Vaporwave-adjacent grids, synthwave aesthetics, and 1980s-inspired typography layouts that instantly transport your projects back to the decade of bold neon and digital frontiers.
3. 90s Nostalgia & Character Pop
Vibrant, expressive style lines that capture the attitude and magic of late-90s street fashion and classic animation aesthetics.
Value vs. Trash: Why Quality Matters for Serious Makers The internet is flooded with massive, cheap bundles sold for pocket change by burner storefronts. While a $2 price tag might look tempting, experienced crafters know the hidden cost: hours spent fixing broken vectors, weeding messy lines, and dealing with corrupted downloads.
When you purchase premium digital estate, you aren't just buying a file —you are buying your time back. A premium asset means you hit "print" or "cut" and get a flawless result on the very first try. No wasted blanks, no customer service nightmares, and no headache.
Get the Bundle & Start Creating
Whether you are crafting custom family vacation tees, designing custom tote bags, laser-engraving retro signs, or building out your own merchandise line, this 23-piece bundle is engineered to give your work an authentic, high-end look.
File Packages Included:
• Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG): Infinite scalability for cutting machines and design software.
High-Resolution Images (PNG): Transparent backgrounds, perfectly optimized for Direct-to-Garment (DTG) or Sublimation printing.

When you write something completely unfiltered, you wonder if people are going to get it. You wonder if the raw, unapologetic truth is going to rub people the wrong way.
Then a reader named Gerald drops a review like this:
"This hits the nail square on the head of how the author found a way to love himself thru a fierce battle of the mind and the heart... It was like I had a first row seat in this man's battle against a terrible fight for real love. Instead of the poison of Narcissism..."
Gerald also pointed out something that a lot of people are too quiet to say out loud: "Coming from a man... as most books are written from a female perspective." That's exactly why this book exists. The battle against narcissistic abuse isn't exclusive to one gender, but the raw, unfiltered male perspective on surviving it, breaking free from the mind games, and reclaiming your absolute freedom? That's hard to find.
Until now.
What This Book Tells You (That Others Won't)
This isn't a textbook filled with clinical jargon meant to coddle you. It's a roadmap out of hell.
As the review says, it gives you the exact questions you need to look in the mirror and ask yourself:
• Am l in a narcissistic relationship?
How do I break the chains and actually get my freedom?
How do I stop giving a fuck about the poison and start living for myself?
Seven days on the market. One week. And the message is already loud and clear. If you are tired of the fierce battle in your own mind and heart, it's time to take your front-row seat.
"Excellent 10 stars" - we'll take the 5 Amazon allows, but we appreciate the sentiment, Gerald.

For ten years, I stood in front of classrooms as a teacher. I poured energy into lessons, tried to mentor young minds, and offered guidance. But honestly? It often felt like I was speaking into the void. Nobody wanted to listen.
I carried that same desire to help into my personal life. I dated five different women, and with every single one, I recognized the patterns of anger and abuse. I tried to help them. I tried to offer clarity. And every single time, the response was the same: they ghosted me. My attempt to guide them was met with silence, rejection, and an exit.
I spent years being the "ignored expert"—the guy who saw the toxicity clearly but couldn't get anyone to look at the map I was holding.
But the thing about the truth is that it doesn't stay hidden forever.
Today, the world is reading exactly what I have to say. I stopped trying to force my advice on people who weren't ready to receive it, and instead, I put it into a format that those who are ready can find.
My new book, 1982: From Narcissism Abuse to Not Giving A Fuck, is the culmination of those years of teaching, those failed relationships, and the hard-won lessons on how to cut the cord with toxic people.
I’m no longer waiting for permission to be heard. I’m no longer chasing people who want to keep living in their own chaos. I’m putting the tools directly into the hands of the people who are actually looking for a way out.
If you’re tired of the gaslighting, the rage, and the cycle of narcissistic abuse, this isn’t another "self-help" book that asks you to be patient. It’s a blueprint for walking away and reclaiming your peace.
The world is finally listening. Are you ready to hear the truth?

]]>I’ve just released version one of my "Rewind and Grind" game, featuring a high-stakes mini-game at the end. Can you beat the clock, settle your late fees, and return that hit before time runs out?
Test your speed here
Let’s be entirely honest with ourselves for a second. Most morning coffee routines aren’t actually an awakening—they’re a compromise. You stumble into the kitchen, brew a mug of generic, over-marketed Arabica, and wait. And wait. You’re left playing a waiting game with a beverage that has all the personality of a wet cardboard box and just enough caffeine to keep your eyelids from fully fusing shut.
That ends today.
If you are ready to stop settling for a weak morning brew, it’s time to plug directly into the high-octane energy of the Max Voltage Cafe 80's Blend.
The High-Caffeine Wake-Up Call You Actually Deserve
We didn't design this blend for the casual, sip-it-while-reading-the-fine-print crowd. This is a premium, high-caffeine powerhouse built specifically for the hustlers, the creators, and anyone who demands maximum energy from their day without sacrificing bold flavor.
What makes it hit so differently? Simple: Robusta beans.
While standard coffee brands rely on delicate, low-caffeine Arabica beans, we source premium Tanzania and India Robusta beans. These beans are naturally packed with significantly more caffeine than standard blends. It’s a pure, unadulterated jolt of raw power delivered straight to your nervous system.
Bold Flavor. Zero Apologies.
A lot of high-caffeine coffees out there taste like burnt tires and regret. Not this one. We roast this blend to absolute perfection, unlocking a full-bodied, deeply satisfying taste profile.
• The Vibe: Rich, dominant, and robust.
• The Finish: Incredibly smooth with low acidity and a powerful, clean aftertaste.
• The Philosophy: Roasted to order. We don't let our beans rot on warehouse shelves for six months. We roast them fresh, package them immediately, and ship them straight to your doorstep at peak flavor and freshness.
Whether you pull a heavy, syrupy espresso shot, brew a strong morning drip, or drink it completely black for the ultimate wake-up call, this blend stands up beautifully to whatever you throw at it.
Custom Built For Your Setup
Your coffee should match your grind. That’s why the Max Voltage Cafe 80's Blend is fully customizable to fit your exact brewing method.
• Choose Your Grind: Coarse, Espresso, Standard, or Whole Bean.
• Choose Your Fuel Load: Available in everything from standard 12oz bags ($23.99) up to bulk 12 LB stockpiles for those who treat caffeine like a critical utility.
Stop letting weak coffee dictate the pace of your morning. Hit the power switch, upgrade your bean game, and run on maximum horsepower.
Let’s skip the marketing fluff: I’ve shot all over, but lately, there is only one spot that actually commands my lens. The Red Barn in Amherst, Massachusetts.
If you want sterile, cookie-cutter ballroom backdrops, go somewhere else. I’m looking for character, and this place has it in spades. It’s unapologetically rustic, deeply tied to the New England landscape, and carries an energy that you just can’t replicate in a modern venue.
Here is why I’m drawing a line in the sand and making this my primary canvas.
One Day. One Wedding. No Assembly Line.
Let’s look at the reality of some other venues. Take a place like the Log Cabin in Holyoke. It's a fine spot, sure, but it feels like an assembly line. They push through at least three weddings a day. You're basically sharing your milestone with a revolving door of other couples, timelines colliding, and cameras competing for space.
The Red Barn doesn't play that game. They focus on one wedding a day. Period.
When you book it, the space is yours. There’s no rushing to get out of the way for the next bridal party, no background noise from someone else's reception, and no compromised shots. That breathing room changes the entire energy of the day, and it absolutely shows in the photos.
It’s All About the Textures
As a photographer, I don't care about "perfection"—I care about soul. The weathered, authentic country charm of the barn gives you a backdrop that actually reacts to light. It’s rich, it’s grounded, and it lets the people in front of the camera stand out without getting lost in a sea of sterile white walls.
The Tree
You can't talk about the Red Barn without talking about the tree.
It’s this massive, beautiful, ancient force of nature where people stand to say their vows. It acts like a natural frame, completely dominating the space in the best way possible. When you couple that scale with the soft, rolling country air, the shots practically take care of themselves. It’s the ultimate anchor for a frame.
The Unfiltered Truth:
A lot of places try to manufacture "rustic" or rely on high-volume wedding factories. The Red Barn doesn’t have to try. It just is. It’s honest, it’s country, it gives you the exclusive space you actually deserve, and it’s exactly where my camera belongs right now.

I’ve been diving into why NuCalm works so much faster (and more reliably) for me, and it comes down to the tech behind the sound.
The Science of "Neuroacoustic" Software
Most sleep apps rely on passive music. You listen to it, you like the melody, and you hope your mind wanders off. NuCalm doesn't leave it to chance. It is a patented, multi-layered neuroacoustic software system. Instead of just giving you something nice to listen to, it’s specifically engineered to:
• Influence Brainwave Frequencies: It manually guides your brain from the high-frequency "stress" state into the deep, slow-wave frequencies required for sleep.
• Balance the Autonomic Nervous System: It essentially flips the switch from "Fight or Flight" to "Rest and Digest."
Physics Over Preference
The coolest part? According to the creators, NuCalm uses a precise blend of biochemistry, physics, and neurophysiology.
While normal music relies on whether or not you enjoy the song to help you relax, NuCalm uses physics to transition your brain state regardless of your musical taste. It’s the difference between taking a relaxing bath and using a biological remote control to turn off your stress.
The Bottom Line: If you're tired of "trying" to fall asleep, it might be time to stop listening to music and start using a system designed to do the heavy lifting for you.
"I’ve been using it every night lately, and I’m finally waking up feeling like I actually slept, rather than just survived the night."

Let’s be completely honest: a lot of the coffee sitting on grocery store shelves right now is dead.
It was roasted months ago, crammed into plastic bags, and left to go completely stale. Worse yet, because mass-market operations prioritize volume over quality, those beans often sit in giant, humid commodity warehouses where microscopic mold toxins (mycotoxins) thrive.
Ever get that jittery, anxious, "sour stomach" feeling after a cheap cup? That’s not a caffeine rush. That’s stale, toxin-heavy coffee wrecking your system.
If you want a morning routine that actually fuels high performance, you need two things: undeniable freshness and the right fuel.
The Molly Dog Difference: Real Freshness
At Molly Dog Coffee, we don’t do stale. We roast in small, deliberate batches and ship it right out.
• Clean Sourcing: Our specialty-grade beans are meticulously washed and dried to prevent mold development at the source.
• Roast-to-Order Integrity: Because it’s actually fresh, you get the full payload of natural coffee antioxidants and clean caffeine—entirely free of the stale baggage that causes the midday crash.
When your coffee is this clean, it becomes the ultimate canvas for a high-performance morning hack: Bulletproof Coffee.
What is Bulletproof Coffee & Why Does it Work?
Bulletproof coffee swaps out a heavy, carb-laden breakfast for a blended mix of fresh coffee and high-quality healthy fats. By blending clean caffeine with grass-fed butter and MCT oil, you unlock:
• Sustained Energy: Fats slow down caffeine absorption, replacing the typical spike-and-crash with 4 to 6 hours of level-headed focus.
• Instant Brain Fuel: MCT oil travels straight to your liver, instantly converting into ketones—your brain’s favorite energy source.
How to Make It (The 30-Second Method)
Do not just stir the fats with a spoon, or you’ll end up with an oily slick. You need a blender to get that rich, frothy, latte-like consistency.
The Lineup:
• 1 cup (8-10 oz): Freshly brewed Molly Dog Coffee.
• 1-2 tsp: Pure MCT Oil (start small to let your stomach adjust).
• 1-2 tbsp: Unsalted, grass-fed butter (packed with anti-inflammatory Omega-3s).
You can make it this way or do it the way I showed in the video above.
The Steps:
1. Brew: Grab your fresh Molly Dog beans and brew a hot, clean cup.
2. Dump: Pour the coffee, MCT oil, and butter into a blender.
3. Blast: Blend on high for 20 to 30 seconds until it looks like a creamy, frothy latte.
The Bottom Line
Stop settling for stale, mass-produced junk. Treat your morning like a business decision. Grab a fresh bag from Molly Dog Coffee, blend it with quality fats, and give your brain the clean power it actually deserves.

In 2016, I was at Pope Francis Preparatory School, teaching students who were paying 15k a year for an education that felt like a public school experience. The administration handed me computers but left out the essential tools—no Photoshop, no creative suite, nothing. I was making 26k a year, being bullied by administration, and finding my only real support among the students who saw the hustle.
This song is my response to that era. It’s about the fact that we need the tools to create, but even when those tools are withheld, we find a way.
From Freeware to Fine Art
While the school wouldn't provide the software, I didn't stop. I used every piece of freeware I could find to keep creating, documenting, and teaching. That same drive is what fueled my ten-year teaching career and my decade-plus as a professional photographer.
Today, my work isn't built on someone else's permission. Whether I’m using a Canon 5D Mark III for "actually good" shots like image.png or digital tools like Procreate, I own the process and the platform.
Why This Matters for the Legacy
• Building in Public: I don’t hide the struggle. I share the reality of the business to show that you don't need a 15k-a-year gatekeeper to succeed.
• Authentic Narrative: This isn't just about photography; it’s about the entrepreneur who turned 26k and a lack of resources into a 24/7 digital radio station, a specialty coffee brand, and a physical real estate goal.
• The Blueprint: For every student I befriended back then, this blog post and my YouTube channel serve as the roadmap for building your own digital equity.
Listen to the Anthem
Below is the track that captures this energy. It’s the sound of taking the tools you have and making them work for you until you can afford the ones you want.

The Concept: "Beware of Hitchhiking Brers"
What happens when you mix the whimsical, southern charm of Splash Mountain with the eerie, gothic vibes of the Haunted Mansion? You get a parody that honors two of the greatest dark rides ever built.
I’ve designed a custom set of playing cards featuring the "Hitchhiking Brers"—a play on the famous Hitchhiking Ghosts. In this reimagining:
• Brer Bear, Brer Fox, and Brer Rabbit take the place of Phineas, Ezra, and Gus.
• The vibrant purples and teals of the Mansion's color palette meet the classic character designs of the Briar Patch.
• The "Beware of Hitchhiking Brers" tagline serves as a nod to the iconic warning every Mansion guest knows by heart.
Why These Playing Cards?
I wanted to create a piece of fan art that felt functional and nostalgic. These cards aren't just for display; they’re designed for your next game night, bringing a touch of theme park history to the table.
• Custom Art: Every detail, from the bindle stick to the sinister grins, was hand-drawn to capture the essence of both attractions.
• A Collector's Mashup: Whether you are a die-hard fan of the Song of the South characters or a devotee of the 999 Happy Haunts, this crossover bridges the gap between the Bayou and the Graveyard.
• Legacy of the Mountain: As the landscape of the parks continues to change, keeping the spirit of these characters alive through creative parodies is my way of saying "thanks for the memories."
Celebrate the Magic
The closing of Splash Mountain marked the end of an era, but the creativity of the fan community ensures it’s never truly gone. This "Hitchhiking Brers" mashup is my tribute to the thrills, the laughs, and the slightly spooky side of our favorite parks.
Are you a Haunted Mansion fan or a Splash Mountain loyalist? Why not be both?
Bring Splash Mountain back to life by picking up these hitchhiking brers here.

"I didn't choose the blue box life. The blue box life chose me."
Let’s be real: there is one food that defines the childhood experience across the board—Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. It is the golden standard of comfort, the undisputed heavyweight of the pantry, and for a long time, it was my primary job requirement.
But for me, this song wasn't born out of a culinary passion. It was born out of survival.
The "Forced" Masterclass
Years ago, I used to babysit my girlfriend’s daughter. Every single time I watched her, the request was the same. No negotiations. No variety. Just Kraft.
I was basically forced into a culinary bootcamp because I had to learn how to make it exactly right every single time. We had Annie’s in the cupboard, and honestly, it’s probably the healthier and tastier choice—especially for the price—but it barely ever made it to the stovetop. It was Kraft or nothing. I had to master the cheese-to-milk ratio just to keep the peace. After making it a hundred times, it stopped being a chore and started becoming a rhythm.
The Vibe
I wrote this track as a tribute to those quiet, domestic moments that turn into lifelong memories. It’s a smooth, cheesy anthem for anyone who has ever been "forced" to learn a skill out of love.

Look, I dunno how much Grand Theft Auto 6 is going to cost but let’s be real, most would pay $100 plus for it. They will probably list it for $80 and then have multiple special editions that will go for $300. I’m sure everyone will buy at least one of those, if not two. Which ya, some people do. What is your favorite Grand Theft Auto? For me I would have to say I love the colors and the vibe of Vice City and will probably fire that one up soon on Playstation 2 again. Are you excited for GTA 6 and how much would you pay for it?

Then: 2007. I’m standing in a ballroom at midnight, surrounded by people celebrating while I’m starving, guarding $30,000 in glass and sensors. I was a professional, but I was a ghost. I was "the help." I was catering to the narcissism of the "perfect day" while my own tank was on empty.
Now: I’m roasting specialty beans for Molly Dog Coffee and dropping anthems on Honest Blue Radio. If someone asks for a "favor" or a freebie, the answer is a hard number. The silence isn't awkward anymore—it's expensive.
Then: 1983. Drawing for quarters. The pure hustle before the world told me I had to be "polite" to people who didn't respect my time.
Now: The fire is back, but this time, I’m the one holding the matches.
The book 1982 moves back and forth because that’s how trauma and recovery work. You take a step forward into your power, then you remember the moment you were forced to walk on eggshells. You look at the narcissist who told you that you were nothing without their paycheck, and then you look at your own logo, your own business, and your own life.
We’re jumping through time because the truth isn't a destination—it's a recurring realization.
From the book 1982. Purchase here. On Kindle. Paperback release May 18th 2026.
Why can’t most people reach the level of
not giving a fuck?
It’s simple: They’re owned. They are
answering to a narcissist and catering to
their whims because they’re walking on
eggshells just to survive.
Take a simple question: "Where were you?" The
response? "None of your business."
In a normal world, that’s a conversation. In
the narcissist’s world, that’s a power play.
They are asserting that they are not
accountable to you, while you are 100%
accountable to them. They withhold
information to keep you anxious, and the
moment you push back, you’re labeled
"controlling."
Maybe that narcissist is the one bringing in
the paycheck while tearing you down with
those words—or worse, with their hands.
You realize that the second you stop giving
a fuck, the money gets cut off. You’ve let
someone else dictate the terms of your
existence because you’re afraid of the
alternative.
You aren’t a partner or an employee; you’re a slave.
You aren’t building a legacy or anything you
actually believe in. You are burning your
internal fire just to keep the peace so you
can eat a meal or sleep without looking over
your shoulder. Whether it’s a spouse or a
corporate employer, the dynamic is the
same: Speak up, and there goes the
mortgage. Speak the truth, and there goes
the food for your kids.
The truth hurts because everyone has been
lying to you to keep you compliant. The
truth shall set you free, but make no
mistake—it comes with a price. It will cost
you the life you’re living right now.

The Disney Chapter and the TikTok Grind
For a long time, my life revolved around the "Disney life." I spent countless Mondays live streaming from the parks for eight hours at a time. It was a grueling schedule, but it worked—I built a following of 15.1k on TikTok. However, that season of life, including the complexities of managing high-pressure relationships and constant content creation, eventually took its toll.
The Breaking Point and The Comeback
By 2023, the weight of it all—wedding photography, DoorDash, Uber, and constant live streaming—led to a physical and emotional breaking point that landed me in the hospital. It was a wake-up call. I realized that to truly move forward, I had to return to my roots and focus on the projects that carried real heart.
I'm officially back and focusing my energy where it counts. I’ve shifted my primary focus to YouTube, where our community has grown to over 7k subscribers. Instead of the frantic pace of park streams, we are now streaming 24/7 through Honest Blue Radio.
Honest Blue Radio & Molly Dog Coffee
Honest Blue Radio (honestblueradio.com) is more than just a station; it’s a platform for original music from independent artists, seeing over 10 hours of daily watch time from a dedicated audience. It’s about building something unfiltered and real.
And then, there’s Molly Dog Coffee. Named after my black lab, Molly, this business represents the "daily grind" in the best way possible. We’re roasting fresh specialty beans, like our Uganda Sipi Falls, and offering free shipping to make sure everyone can get a taste of what we’re building.
Looking Ahead
Whether it's through a camera lens, a radio signal, or a fresh roast, my goal remains the same: staying true to the craft and the community.
Check out what we’re up to:
• Listen: Honest Blue Radio
• Drink: Molly Dog Coffee (Fresh roasted, free shipping!)

Fantasmic! Mickey Mouse Performance – Disney’s Hollywood Studios, FloridaThere is nothing quite like the energy of Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Capturing Mickey Mouse in the center of the mist and spotlight is a challenge for any photographer, but the result perfectly summarizes the magic of Central Florida entertainment. This shot was taken during my time living in Lakeland, navigating the I-4 traffic just to witness and document these iconic moments. It stands as a reminder of the grind and the beauty found within the Disney parks.
The $0 Day: Dashing Through Central Florida
Most days, I was out on the road working DoorDash and Uber. If you’ve ever tried to navigate the I-4 corridor between Lakeland and Orlando, you know the nightmare. Between the tourist traffic heading to Disney and the Monday morning rush after golf tournaments, a simple trip to the airport could easily turn into a two-hour standstill.
The financial reality was even tougher. There were days I’d be out there and come home with $0. On a "good" day, I’d hit maybe $70. One time, I even did a free airport run for Kimby’s friends just for some Moe’s Southwest Grill—because at that point, a hot meal felt like a paycheck.
8 Hours for Emojis: The TikTok Grind
Every Monday, I’d go LIVE on TikTok for eight hours straight. I worked hard to build a following of over 10k, but the "emoji money" system didn't pay the bills. While followers were kind enough to donate a few dollars here and there for food, the platform's gifting system never turned into real, sustainable income. People would see I was near Disney and ask to meet up, but I was usually too burnt out or tapped out to make it happen.
The Breaking Point
By the time 2023 rolled around, the combination of financial stress, the constant driving, and the emotional weight of my relationship led to a total burnout. When Kimby and I broke up and she moved back to Louisiana, I hit a wall that landed me in the hospital.
Lakeland taught me a lot about resilience, but it also taught me that you can't pour from an empty cup. To everyone still out there grinding on I-4 or streaming until their eyes hurt: take care of yourself first. I will return to Florida someday and visiting The Mouse but for the last three years I’ve been in recovery and rebuilding.

Right from the jump, I was fighting for air. That physical struggle turned into a psychological one that would last for decades. I didn't know then that the "lack of breath" would become the theme of my life—suffocating under the weight of other people’s narcissism while I stayed quiet, just trying to find enough oxygen to exist.
I had asthma as a kid. I remember the middle-of-the-night attacks. My parents would take me into the bathroom, turn the shower on full blast, and we’d sit there in the steam. Just waiting to breathe. Looking back, I have to ask: was that the only way I knew how to get seen? Was my body literally screaming for attention because my voice wasn't allowed to?
I didn’t talk much. I watched.
My first teacher was Grandpa George. He didn’t say much either. I’d sit there at a year old, barely a toddler, just watching his hand move. He’d draw an old guy bowling, or George Jetson, or Popeye. No lectures. No "validation" speeches. Just the ink hitting the paper. That was my language.
I thought if the art was good enough, I’d be good enough. I kept my head down and drew to gain the attention I couldn't get by speaking. But even that space wasn't safe.
I remember the feeling of my sister stepping on my drawing pads. The sound of the paper crinkling under a foot that shouldn't have been there.
"I didn't mean to, Jay."
The classic excuse. And then my mother, looking me in the eye, backed her up: "She didn't mean to."
In that moment, the drawing—the one thing that gave me a voice—was trampled. And the people who were supposed to protect my "breath" told me it didn't matter. It was "accidental." Was it?
That’s where it started. The "I didn't mean to" became the soundtrack for the next few decades of my life. Friends, family, girls—they’d step on my heart, my work, and my boundaries, and I’d just sit in the steam and wait for the air to come back.
I’m done waiting for the steam. I'm 43 years old, and I finally learned how to breathe on my own.
I officially don't give a fuck.

If you know anything about pinball, you know the Williams Indiana Jones The Pinball Adventure. It’s a widebody monster, and quite frankly, it’s one of the heaviest machines ever built. I know this because I’ve lived it.
The Backstory
This machine didn’t just show up on a showroom floor. It came out of a basement where the dolly lift actually died halfway through the job. We had to manhandle this beast out the hard way.
I acquired this machine in 2019. It was funded by the sale of my Theatre of Magic—a machine I sold back in 2017 after my Dad passed away. The guy who bought that Theatre of Magic actually showed up thinking he could fit a full-sized pinball machine in the back of a Tesla. Needless to say, he learned a lesson that day, and I got the funds to hunt down this Indy.
The Machine
This isn't your run-of-the-mill, beat-up route machine. This is a survivor that actually works.
• The Look: What sets this particular unit apart is the gold lockbar and gold legs. It gives it a presence that makes other machines look like toys. It’s "holier" than the rest.
• The Mechanics: Unlike the machines you find "in the wild"—including that famous one at Disneyland with the wood cabinet that’s usually broken—this one is 100% operational.
• Path of Adventure: Yes, the upper playfield works perfectly.
The Deal
I’m looking for $15,000.
I’ve included a video below. It shows the machine in full working condition. Watch it. If you can't see the quality of the playfield and the flow of the game from the video, you aren't the buyer for this machine.
• No, I don't have more pictures. The video tells the story.
• No, I will not ship it. You want it? You come get it.
• No Teslas. Bring a real truck and some muscle.
If you’re a serious collector and you want to come test it out in person, feel free to reach out. If you’re looking to waste time or haggle over things you saw in a blurry photo, keep scrolling.

There is a specific moment at Disney’s Hollywood Studios when the music swells, the lights dim, and Mickey Mouse appears atop the mountain to kick off Fantasmic!. For a photographer, this isn't just a show; it’s a high-stakes challenge in low-light precision and split-second timing.
The Shot: Mickey’s Pyrotechnic Intro
Capturing the exact moment the sparks fly from Mickey’s fingertips requires more than just being there—it requires anticipation. Using a Canon DSLR paired with a telephoto lens, I was able to compress the scene and bring the audience right onto the stage.
The difficulty of this shot cannot be overstated:
• The Lighting: You are dealing with intense pyrotechnics against a dark, rocky backdrop.
• The Motion: Mickey is in constant movement, making the focus and shutter speed critical.
• The Timing: The sparks last only a fraction of a second.
The result is a frame that freezes the "Imagination" theme of the show forever—a perfect blend of technical gear and the patience to wait for that one singular burst.
Bring the Magic Home
This image is more than just a memory; it’s a piece of media history captured through a professional lens. If you’ve sat in those bleachers at Hollywood Hills Amphitheater and felt that surge of nostalgia, this print is designed for your collection.

If you’ve been on Clapper recently, you know their motto is "Be heard. Be seen. Be valued." But after my recent experience, it feels more like "Be ignored. Be ghosted. Be scammed."
The $5 Disappearing Act
We recently tried to support a creator by paying for a "shoutout" via their Fam Subscription. The goal was simple: get some eyes on our 24/7 radio station and connect with a new community.
Instead, we got:
• Zero delivery: The creator never gave the shoutout.
• Radio silence: The creator went completely inactive after taking the money.
• Support failure: When we reached out to "Clapper Academy" for a refund, they admitted the creator was inactive but refused to return the money, citing a "non-refundable" policy.
### The Red Flags You Need to Watch For
While the app claims to be a "safe space" for creators, our experience—and those of many others—paints a different picture:
• The Inactive Creator Loophole: Clapper's support admitted to us that they know some creators are inactive, yet they still allow users to subscribe and pay them.
• "Non-Refundable" Scams: Their standard policy is "No Refunds," making it a playground for scammers who can take small amounts of money ($5 here, $10 there) and never deliver.
• Lack of Accountability: Other users have reported even more serious issues, like having accounts banned with over $1,600 in earnings still in the wallet.
Is It Even Worth It?
You might ask: "It's only $5, is it worth writing about?"
Absolutely. It’s not about the five bucks; it's about a platform that "gatekeeps" small amounts of money from thousands of users while protecting inactive or predatory accounts. If they are doing this to us, they are doing it to others.
How to Protect Yourself
1. Report to the BBB: We’ve already filed our report. If enough people do this, the platform will be forced to address their refund policies.
2. Verify Activity: Never subscribe to a "Fam" tier unless you see that the creator has posted or interacted with fans in the last 24 hours.
3. Use the In-App Report Tool: You can report a user by hitting the three dots on their profile. Just don't expect a refund—expect to have to fight for it.
Bottom line: Clapper needs to start valuing its supporters as much as it claims to value its creators. Until they fix their refund policy for non-delivered services, stay away from the "Fam" subscriptions.
]]>Have you ever looked at a screen and forgotten, even for just a second, that what you were seeing was impossible?
That is the essence of Movie Magic. It’s the invisible thread—sometimes literal—that connects a creator's imagination to the audience's heart. Today, I’m starting a new series where we index and deconstruct these moments of cinematic wonder.
To kick things off, we have to look at the master of making the impossible feel intimate: Jim Henson.
The Science of a Frog on wheels
Check out this incredible clip from The Jim Henson Hour. In it, Jim pulls back the curtain on one of the most famous scenes in puppetry history: Kermit the Frog riding a bicycle in 1979’s The Muppet Movie.
As Jim explains, what looked like effortless freedom was actually a feat of high-wire engineering. To make Kermit pedal, he was turned into a marionette, controlled by a team of performers sitting in a massive crane high above the set.
When we see Kermit cycling through the park, our brains know he's a puppet, but our hearts see a friend on a journey. That balance—the technical "how" meeting the emotional "why"—is what makes movies more than just moving pictures.
this is not our photo. Using it just for a reference to show you how they created this movie magic.
From Strings to Songs
Jim Henson always said that he wasn't just trying to "trick" the audience; he was trying to create a world where everyone was welcome.
In The Muppet Movie, the rainbow isn't just a weather phenomenon; it’s a promise that the lovers, the dreamers, and you are all connected. It’s a reminder that even when we see the "strings" behind the scenes of our own lives, there is still a melody worth singing.
To close out this first look at movie magic, I wanted to share a piece of my own magic. Inspired by the spirit of the "Rainbow Connection," here is a song I wrote about finding your own light, even when the colors seem out of reach.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice – Mickey Mouse Sketch on Toned Tan PaperA charcoal and graphite study of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice from Disney's Fantasia. This piece was drawn on toned tan paper to emphasize the magical highlights and crashing waves. My passion for drawing started back in 1983, inspired by watching my grandfather, George, create art. This sketch is part of a series focusing on classic characters and high-contrast lighting.
Art has always been a family affair for me. My journey with a pencil didn't start in a classroom or from a YouTube tutorial; it started in 1983, sitting quietly and watching my grandfather, George, work his magic. He was the one who first showed me how a few simple lines could breathe life into a blank page.
Looking back at these sketches from a few years ago, I can see how that foundation he laid decades ago still guides my hand today. These were done on toned tan paper, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite mediums. There’s something about starting on a mid-tone surface that allows the highlights to pop in a way traditional white paper just can't match.
Featured Sketches
• Snow White & The Poison Apple: I wanted to capture that classic Disney "innocence meets dark omen" vibe. Using white charcoal for the highlights on the skull-faced apple and the reflection in her eyes really helped create that glow.
• The First Avenger: Captain America is all about structure and shadows. Toned tan paper is perfect for portraits like this because you can use the paper color as the skin’s base tone and focus entirely on the deep graphite shadows and the sharp white highlights on his cowl.
as seen up top
• The Sorcerer’s Apprentice: You can't go wrong with Mickey. This piece was all about movement—trying to capture the chaotic energy of the water and the magic in his fingertips.
Why Toned Tan?
If you haven't tried drawing on toned paper, you're missing out on a serious "aha!" moment. Here is why I keep coming back to it:
1. Instant Mid-Tones: The paper does half the work for you. You don't have to spend hours shading a background; you just define the darks and the lights.
2. The "Pop" Factor: Adding a white colored pencil or gel pen to a tan surface makes the drawing look three-dimensional almost instantly.
3. A Nostalgic Feel: It has a warm, classic look that reminds me of the old-school animation cells and sketches I grew up admiring.
Every time I pick up a pencil, I think about those afternoons in '83 watching George. It’s funny how a hobby can turn into a lifelong companion. Whether it’s a superhero or a princess, every stroke is a tribute to the man who started it all for me.
Keep creating, keep practicing, and never forget who gave you your first pencil.
Which of these three is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
]]>The Magic is in the Heat
At first glance, it’s a sleek, unassuming black mug. But once you pour in your morning roast, the transformation begins. The design reveals a clever mashup: the beloved characters from a classic mountain adventure meeting the eerie atmosphere of the world’s most famous haunted estate. It’s a literal "Zip-A-Dee-Doom" moment that brings a smile (and maybe a slight chill) to your kitchen table.
Why It’s a Must-Have
• Dual Identity: It’s a conversation starter. You get the colorful pop of classic animation mixed with the "Grim Grinning Ghosts" aesthetic.
• Quality Design: This isn't just a gimmick; the art is sharp, vibrant, and perfectly captures the "Splash Mouth" style—edgy, fun, and authentic.
• Limited Run: With only a small number made, it’s a true collector’s item for those who appreciate the intersection of vintage park vibes and modern design.

Real-world reviews are already coming in, with users highlighting how satisfied they are with the "Splash Mountain forever" sentiment and the high-quality reveal of the artwork. If you're looking for something that stands out from the standard mass-produced souvenirs, this crossover hits the mark.
